  1. Just think, if the fans hadn't called for Strachan to go, he'd still be manager, Regan would still have a job, and Scottish football would be heading in a positive direction.
  2. Train prices from airport Tel Aviv £2.75 (direct) Haifa £7.30 (direct) Jersualem £4.10 (2 changes)

The phrase 'have your cake and eat it' springs to mind. Trips can be quite cheap if money is your concern. Use budget airlines, stay in dorm rooms, cook your own food, don't drink alcohol, etc

What a load of nonsense this is. People just looking for tickets to the big games. Again. You go to watch Scotland, not see the opposition.
  5. You've mixed up Haifa and Tel Aviv

On that note, Metro Line 3 is being renovated. Last time I was there (December) some stations were closed in the evening. They're doing it in sections, so I'm not sure what the progress will be by March. Replacement bus service available.
  7. I think it's 5% Assuming game is in Shkodër, we'll get a minimum of 800 If Elbasan, we'll get slightly less (640)
  8. Yeah, there's hourly trains through the night. Think they don't run on the Sabbath though.

It's not as easy as you think. The UK definitely has a better selection of budget airlines. I usually end up doing the majority of a trip overland which just takes more time.
  10. Probably not. I think it's developing slowly.
  11. SCOTLAND, ALBANIA, ISRAEL 3 team group
  12. We can't draw those three due to winter restrictions
  13. We'd probably arrange at least one friendly if we were in a 3 team group
  14. Scotland, Serbia and Israel would be a nightmare group.
  15. The season should end with the November internationals. And the players could then have a break till January, with the first competitive games at start of February? I think that would work. I'd also like to see a 16 team league with 30 games per season. The Cup competitions would need to change their formats slightly.
  16. Totally agree. I still think domestic season should run March-November. And not forgetting Celtic have postponed league games in the past to take part in lucrative friendlies overseas.
  17. Yeah, some of the stadia don't look particularly promising for travelling fans. Hopefully we don't end up with more than 1 smaller stadium.
  18. As the draw being held tomorrow, here is my summary of our potential opponents (and perhaps more importantly, the likely venues). http://www.greengoulash.com/uefa-nations-league/

Check around Móricz Zsigmond körtér. Generally the Buda side of the city is more expensive for accomodation, and there are less places to eat and drink etc. The area where you stayed last time is probably optimal.
  20. Why are people getting pissed off about the renewal date?
  21. We're hardly an attractive opportunity ourselves.
  22. I've been to Aland islands a couple of times - although that was more than 20 years ago. Was good, and an ideal place to stop if going over to Finland. Also been up to the Artic Circle in Finland (Pello) - excellent to see the midnight sun.
  23. Check these; http://www.welcometobratislava.eu/eventland-top-events-and-places-in-bratislava/ http://www.kcdunaj.sk/ Can't say I pay much attention to places with live music, however Michalská and Sedlárska (both overpriced tourist streets) are probably your best bet. The majority of decent pubs/bars in Bratislava close between 11 and midnight.
  24. My proximity to these countries has no impact on my suggestion
  25. Hopefully we'll get an away game against Hungary or Romania as they're both in the same pot as us for Nations League.
