  1. πŸ‘ Just be grateful it is singing lessons I am getting . I heard this morning on the radio that tv casting company maddog2020.com are looking for scantly clad Go-go dancers for a new film which is set in Glasgow in the 80’s. No experience required 😁 ( they are also looking for people fluent in Japanese and Russian)
  2. Sorry I am derailing the thread I will shut up ..
  3. Excellent. You should manage Mustang Sally 😁 I actually fell off a stage whilst drunk playing tambourine to that song.
  4. β€˜β€˜Prof Steven Riley, one of the authors, said he was "really disappointed" when the data started coming in and said it meant the "current measures are not sufficient". "There has to be a change, the rate of growth is really quite rapid, one way or another there has to be a change before Christmas," he said. He argued this could be either the general public following the rules more closely or government imposing tougher restrictions on our lives.β€˜β€˜ It would seem inevitable we are all going to end up back in full lock down if this continues. There are just too many people flaunting the rules.
  5. 😁 who knows, I could be a rock chick ! It is an online course with contributions from a vocal coach who worked on The Voice , and trained Paloma Faith and Damon Albarn . All for 9 quid πŸ˜‚ I am gonna be the next Susan Boyle. What a back story.β€˜ After 56 years of hell locked in a tone deaf body of tunes no one recognised , one day, in those dark days of Covid, a little voice appeared. β€˜ I will be looking for backing singers. We will be called Tidy and the Tambers. Only those with tambourine experience need apply.
  6. They will be the people moaning the most about the restrictions. I am missing going out for something to eat and for a few drinks, cannot believe we have a huge match soon and have to watch it at home. If I watch any more TV I think I actually will get square eyes. I bought singing lessons for 9 quid today on Living Social, thats how bad things are. I cant be alone as they had sold 1546 of them when I bought mine. It will be like one big tone deaf covid choir.
  7. The principal of that makes sense as different people are missing different things , but I think at this stage it may be too much hassle and take up too much time to implement.
  8. Watched the new Borat film. Not as good as the first but still pretty funny. If you didnt like the first one or dont like childish humour its probably not for you right enough. It does not paint Rudy Giuliani in a good light. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Urgh.
  9. Heard on Clyde 1 news that leaked doc suggests Glasgow will be in Tier 3 but that North and South Lanarkshire could be in Tier 4.
  10. Can anyone answer these ? Sorry if the answers are obvious but they are genuine questions.
  11. I say Tartan Army Message Board, to the snorts of laughter from my friends 😑
  12. On the Douglas Ross free school meals stooshie, am I right in thinking that because the motion was defeated in England then Scotland need to find the money from their coffers as they will not receive any funding ? Ross is in support of free school meals in Scotland but he abstained in the vote in England knowing it would mean Scotland would get no funding if the bill failed ?
  13. πŸ˜‚ maybe so for all you folk well onto your obscure music, but most of the tunes I have NEVER heard of , especially Jim’s. The ones I do know I tend to remember easily, but I had actually completely forgotten about about that XTC song. It must be about 35 years since I last heard it. Very nostalgic. I enjoy listening to the random stuff posted, but I cant keep up sometimes when you are all on a roll. When I retire I am gonna start at page 1 of this thread and listen to every tune 😁
  14. Dont worry I’m only here for the next 10 minutes 😁
  15. Its a Saturday night. It’s got to be done. All together now, hands in the air πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹πŸ½
  16. Been watching The Cube this week. I have enjoyed it. I reckon I would only be good at 2 games, counting the squares that appear in the cube and throwing the ball in the box whose door moves up and down. I am not sure if I like the slow motion so much though. I think some of the games would be better in real time.
  17. Can someone explain why the chancellor can give extra cash to England for businesses but not the devolved governments ? I assume there must be a justifiable reason ? I read that Β£700 million had been given to Scotland already , was that money that nowhere in England got ?
