  1. You must be leaving him yer mrs as well for that kind of dosh, given the deprived/dangerous locale ?
  2. If you feel strongly enough about ongoing bias and/or incompetence at BBC news output, the Wings website has posted an article, prompted by the George Squaregate scandal, where the BBC reported a scenario of rival groups involved in disorder, as opposed to the truth. They basically attributed half of the blame to Yes vote campaigners, as opposed to condemning the Rangers/Orange mobs who rampaged through Glasgow city centre battering people. The Wings article advises on how to cancel your licence fee, and what you are then legally permitted to watch, or not. Could someone with the savvy please provide a link ?
  3. The whole odds thing might indeed be influenced by news of a postal NO majority, but that was to be expected. Lots of older people with time on their hands, retired, nice pension etc. I know one who lives abroad half the year. Daily Mail reader. Tory voter. Genuinely thinks things are fine thanks, I'm alright Jack etc. Postal No voter.
  4. My mrs has been telling me to shut the fack up about it for weeks now but we had a 10 minute walk up to Panmurefield to vote so I chatted to her about Andy Murray, hope v fear etc. She says it was Andy Murray that did it ! Then admitted that she initially thought I was biased and paranoid but that she began to realise what was actually going on when the 3 amigos fired up for some lovebombing.
  5. I think she deserves something altogether more robust for that. My wife has also voted Yes. Wisnae sure she would but she did, despite being from Corstorphine
  6. Anywhere in the 60-65 range is good thanks. No more than that !
  7. It was 14s yesterday. Not really believing we will get that much, if we win at all (cannot compute - too much emotional baggage), but at those odds it's a no brainer. As someone else stated - no-one knows for sure, but if the newly registered, the Labour vote, the 16-24s, and the undecideds all work out then who knows ?
  8. The EU have been clear that they would be happy to provide clarification on this issue, but only if requested by the UK govt. Wonder why they have refused to make the request ?
  9. BBC news currently live at a NO event in Clydebank. Darling up for last 10 mins and now Brown getting cheered to the rafters. How long will this last ? I await similar airtime today for any YES event, as obviously the BBC are unbiased and will allow each side the same time.
  10. Nae shrill voice shenanigans with the application of a ball-gag.
  11. Loads on Strathearn further down, and 2 big wobbly stick flags in gardens. A lot of stickers in windaes closer to Forthill Road. After that I lost interest as I was salivating at the thought of my impending pint in the Fish. And meeting my lovely wife also. (Punching WAY above my weight.)
  12. Got on the bus this morning from my house down into the main street in Broughty Ferry to meet the Mrs for a drink after her work - about a 5 minute trip. 2 people got on the bus with Yes badges (+ me). Then I was blown away by the amount of windows that had YES stuff. Not one No sticker. The Ferry says YES
