  1. good stuff. A two footed player with pace is most welcome.
  2. He was clearly shattered when Tommy Burns died. He understands Rangers v Celtic rivalry unlike many on here. Most Rangers and Celtic fans get on just fine, just as normal Scots and English do. It's a different matter when the whistle blows.
  3. Not so. If Poland lose their next 2 games and we beat Gib, Poland are out, and we're third.
  4. Some changes required. Gordon to replace Marshall who hasn't produced any wonder saves that Gordon can be relied upon to do. Our corners and free kicks have been shocking - bring in Adam for the suspended Morrison and play him in an advanced role. Mulgrew offers nothing at left back, bring in Robertson. Mulgrew to compete with Fletcher and MacArthur to play alongside Brown, who can keep his place if his form improves in the next 30 days. Up front is too complicated to think about right now.
  5. Makes playing Mulgrew at left back tolerable if their right back is equally slow.
  6. The u21s kick of at 2pm. If they don't put 4 past Northern Ireland I'll take it as a very bad sign.
  7. No. We'll probably produce a great result somewhere but ultimately it'll be the usual bad luck story (and of course it isn't luck).
  8. Have we got players coming through that are going to be better than what we've currently got? Players that could win games. Gauld, McLeod? Is there any hope at all?
  9. Martin has played that position hundreds of times. I'm not saying I would play him there but I can see it happening since Strachan likes Hanley and Mulgrew and we need Robertson as an attacking outlet.
  10. Martin at right back isn't out of the question allowing Hanley and Mulgrew for centre of defence.
  11. Steven Fletcher may regain a knack for scoring if he moves to the SPFL although ultimately it's a big step backwards.
  12. All our first 11 got good game time in the last 48 hours, bar Martin who will play today. We're in good shape.
  13. a strong squad for the business end of the campaign. If we avoid injury, I think it's good enough to get us qualified.
