    A bit " below the belt" Charlie. We did have a few words with each other [ to say the least] in Georgia but in all honesty I would rather some auld No voter, rather than him, departed. He was a patriot.

    Concur- a 3 day period wa no horseracing is grim. Me too on laptop playing poker. Away in 5 minutes to wee hoose party [ a hate hoose parties].

    Caledonian bar- a few of the ex Toronto fc players have made it their local. As has my lad. You might meet Gary Caldwell or Brian Kerr.

    Was thinking along similar lines with regards to NI. very rarely do we hear GB& NI mentioned together.

    Norwegians brought Wine and Rum so my cans were in great demand. Never been so generous in my life as I was on that 1998 train. We even had a Cassette Recorder with traditional music, to which a great deal of man dancing was being undertaken.

    Great news, drop of 50% caught in first week [ 71]. Only 8 within old and new level. Grand piece of legislation, up there along with smoking ban in pubs. A healthier and safer country thanks to decisions we as a nation can make.

    I said Nurses were reasonably paid. Average UK salary is £26,500 remember. I never said they were well paid, that is the domain of GPs, who are so well paid they can decline out of hours work.

    5 million kids die from malnutrition each year- stop bemoaning the fact the water is dirty.

    One million people work in call centres for half what a Nurse gets. Targets, sales, pressure selling etc, Not too many Nurses using food banks. Get a grip and stop bemoaning public service wages and pensions and consider the millions on minimum wage.

    Nurses are paid reasonably well. £35,000 possible without shift allowance and overtime [£30 per hour]. A lot more than most workers. Now doctors? your average GP will be on six figure salary thanks to the Labour party. That good they canna be bothered doing weekend work [£1500].

    This lower limit has made me drink more on a Saturday. Before I would stop drinking early and be ok for driving next day [ as best I could judge]. Now I abandon any Sunday driving intentions and have 3 0r4 more.

    Probably biggest reason people are staying away. Not been at a club match for 8 years. Stranraer v Morton just over 300 fans last week. Thistle down 1500 on average. Inverness v St Mirren less than 2000; Signs are there to be acted on.

    Only concession is price that we are getting the share at. £1.50 as opposed to about £1.85 at present.

    Example= save £200 per month over 3 years= £7200 invested at £1,50 per share. If share is at £3 after 3 years then return is twice savings £14,400. Is share collapses [ again] then money back.

    Must do 3 years or just cash back. If the share price for example was £3 then I would double my cash. Whatever share price at maturity reflects return
