  1. According to Kilmarnock fans on here he was going straight for the top, even when he made the move to Utd. Bizarre fall from grace. Oh well, sigh....
  2. Very true. We also deem a player 'young' till way into their mid 20's.
  3. If you don't realise Scottish football is terrible then you're an even bigger idiot than you come across on here I am afraid
  4. Scottish domestic football is pish I am afraid
  5. Ah Yes, Scottish fringe player playing in the championship is now good enough for Man Utd. My mistake...
  6. Shaw is better than Robertson
  7. I expect every 16 year old goes through that spell. Difference is Tony Watt still displaying that at 21/22. Forgot about this young lad but promising indeed.
  8. Yes clearly he would go if he had the chance, very amusing anecdote. Doesn't change the facts that; 1) They most likely don't want him - Our papers love to link a player with a big club ala Steven Fletcher Real Madrid, David Marshall Arsenal etc etc 2) If the highly unlikely event of Man Utd wanting him was true he would rarely get a game and it would be negative for the national team Putting aside the fact that he isn't good enough for Man Utd. He isn't even a nailed on starter for Scotland!
  9. Well he isn't going to be 'playing' at the highest level watching Man Utd from the stands is he.
  10. Our players should stay away from the top English clubs where they, to be honest, aren't good enough to get a game. Same with the David Marshall to Arsenal link - Back up keeper. Playing for a good level EPL team is fine but really none of our players are good enough to be playing for EPL teams challenging for C League places.
  11. It's hard to gauge to be honest but it is a concern that he hasn't broken into the first team yet. A loan back to Scotland would be very disappointing to see. Here's hoping next season he can get more game time for the first team over there - We need more Scots playing abroad.
  12. Iceland do key things correctly; 1) Send their youngsters abroad at an early age 2) Play youth 3) Play attacking attractive football 4) Have a summer football season We do none of the above - To be fair we have played youth in the last 2 friendlies. I think we all expect that to be a one off though in reality.
  13. 'bigger' suggesting they aren't bigger!? lol
  14. Based on yesterdays showing Gordon can't cut it in the SPL let alone for Scotland. Pipe doon.
  15. We voted not to be a country so how are we allowed in international football anymore!? ha.
  16. McGregor Martin Hanley Mulgrew Robertson Anya McArthur Morrison Snodgrass Griffiths Rhodes
  17. Yes what are we gaining by playing France and Italy away!? At best we will narrowly lose as we sometimes do to the big sides. At worst we will get a hiding. We also wont experiment and will probably call up more has-beens that we did in this set of friendlies, seems bizarre tbh.
  18. Tierney had played almost 30. Burke had played 15-20. Didn't Warren Cummings get an international debut while at Chelsea with no 1st team appearances to his name yet!?
  19. Is he a hobbit? How tall is Shinnie? Let's just pick tall players who can kick the ball far. 'Gordon Strachan-Sbragia'
  20. Oliver Burke; Born in Scotland Scottish dad Never played for England at any level No references of anything like an English call up for anyteam Chose Scotland Plays for Scotland States how proud he is to be capped What the hell do some idiots on here want!?
