  1. Agree. Get all 3 of them in the squad for next month.
  2. Would be strange since Regan has said Mackay is in charge for a one off game. That being said 2 games would be better for us than 1.
  3. I think the opposite. Given his age, past problems with illness & how he will be 36 come the next tournament, can definitely see him retiring to prolong his club career. The same move Scott Brown took at 30!
  4. Nobody is overly happy Mackay is in but let's look positively - Strachan is gone, some deadwood will go with him & we can now surely look forward to some younger & in form players being selected. Here's my squad for next months friendly - some high profile omissions but I don't see the point in them being in the squad for this game; GK: Archer, Gordon, Fulton DF: Ralston, Tierney, Robertson, Kingsley, J Souttar, Mulgrew, Cooper, McCrorie MF: Brown, Armstrong, McGregor, Shinnie, McGinn, Forrest, Fraser, Fleck, McLean FW: Griffiths, Rhodes, May, Cummings Tierney could play centre back rather than forcing him out to the right. McCrorie, Ralston etc barely played senior footy but we have no senior good options so why not include them as they clearly have potential. if the 21s don't have a game then invite some young players with potential along to train with the senior side; Scott McKenna, Harry Souttar, Scott McTominay, Charlie Gilmour etc.
  5. Anyone gay, female or Chinese going by who our new manager is
  6. There's so much shiite in there I don't even know where to start ?
  7. They both walked out. Smith for his dream job. McLeish for erm... Birmingham
  8. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/15593745.Scotland_caretaker_needed_for_November_friendly_international_at_Pittodrie/ Unsure if this has been posted but this article basically says Mackay will be the caretaker for next months friendly....!
  9. Starting to think Strachan is actually our worst manager in the post Craig Brown era. Or am I just too raw at the moment and it's definitely Burley/Levein!?
  10. In all seriousness.... Alex Ferguson?! ??
  11. Yes its refreshingly accurate & basically echoes all the comments in here.
  12. About time someone posted that pic of Jimmy Calderwood probably ?
  13. Would rather him than any of the old pals brigade
  14. Would rather Joan Collins
  15. Also only played once since May for his club
  16. Moyes - no! If we're going Scottish let's go younger. If Moyes or McLeish are the only ones being touted then let's go foreign.
  17. You were in Faro clapping him after the Euro qualifiers weren't you?
  18. Thanks for achieving nothing and earning 2.5million doing so. Heres hoping the next manager isn't a stubborn wee whank who spouts pish & tries to piss off fans just to show how smart and dugged he is. Bye Gordon.
  19. I'm stunned there's even more than a handful who want him to stay. This 'momentum' people speak of - didn't see much of that against Slovenia!? Seemed more like the first 4 games of the campaign & back to normal for Strachan. Has to go...
  20. I think we play more Matt Elliot's under the present manager than we did when we actually had Matt Elliot
  21. With the SFA discussing this tomorrow it would be nice to get a comment of either "stay" or "go" from each TA board member to see what the genuine consensus is. We know the SFA look on here after all... ? All the chatter has been done and overdone - simple "stay" or "go" i'll kick it off; "Go"
