I moved to Luxembourg for a year, to see what it was like, come November I'll have been here 10 years. My advice would be to give it a go. If you want to try somewhere that isn't Anglophonic, but are worried about the language barrier, maybe try somewhere with a big financial district. Somewhere like Frankfurt, for example, as loads of the locals will speak English, anyway, and will help you out while you're learning the local lingo (I'd expect them too, anyway). In saying that, I'm still not fluent in French, my German is good enough to shout when at the football and my Luxembourgish is basic as basic can be. I know swearies in a fair few languages from playing football, mind you.

Just read a bit of the Radcliffe story in the Grauniad, the line that always comes up in these things, but is rarely commented on is "...because I know that I have always competed as a clean athlete...". Not sure about the levels of out-of-competition testing in athletics, but that line always reads to me like "I raced clean, when I knew I'd be tested, but used substances while training". As for Lance Armstrong, he's still a total . The cheating wasn't even close to the worst thing he did, the way he (his legal team) went after people was disgraceful. I can understand someone like David Walsh accepting an apology, but how Emma O'Reilly ever even spoke to him again is beyond me.

Don't think replacing Strachan is the way to go. We've made progress, but still have a long way to go. A win against the Poles will almost certainly see us make the play-offs, and then we'll see what happens. However, I do think Strachan needs to grow up a bit: the 'iwatch' line, funny as it was, it shows the players that he's not fully concentrated on the game (very much doubt that was a spur of the moment gag), which I'm sure was apparent in training/team meeting whatever and had an impact on the performance. His post game comments last night were unnecessary, too.
