  1. Missed the first quarter and half of the second, so can't really comment on how good Miami were in building the lead. But, we were truly awful in the second half, and that was before taking the 1st teamers out of the game. Think Thursday will be the true test of Coach Campbell.
  2. For purely selfish reasons, IN. Although, I won't be voting.
  3. ####s sake! I'd just about got over this, but stupidly decided to read through the 21 pages before going to my bed. Raging all over again. Also embarrassed by the fact that (as I was watching the game on my phone having been at football) I was jumping about in the street when we scored the try with 5 and a bit to play.
  4. If everyone opted for a pick-up on away tickets, it would hurt them. Whatever the charge is (I'm guessing £1/2) for postage over the cost of a stamp [you can tell I don't order my own tickets, eh] plus the hassle of having to set up proper pick up points wherever the game was. Araseache for the fans for a campaign, probably, but would definitely be noticed. I like the idea of everyone handing back the membership, but the only way it can be done fairly is to carry over the points accrued pre-boycott once we all rejoin - no way any of the high-pointers are going to risk what they've 'worked' for.
  5. Route announced today. Fair play to Prudy and his team, looks like they've done a good job again. More than likely going to be a climber, again, Froome probably favourite ahead of Bertie and Nibali - the flat ITT being the longer of the two means that the likes of Quintana will have to attack the others that little bit more. Can't see Dumoulin being able to repeat the heroics from this year's Vuelta. But the 'super'-domestiques could have a big part to play, Fabio Aru (assuming he targets the Giro) and Ale Valverde could be the difference. Saw something saying that double points would be awarded on penultimate climbs, too, which will make the KOM a full-on competition on its own again. Should make for a fair bit of aggressive racing everyday, with the second-tier guys having something to aim for, as opposed to Thibault Pinot's "podium" comments today. Could really make BMC an interesting prospect, however, as they'll have two contenders in Porte and TJ - difficult to get this right tactically, but if they make it work, either of them could be in with a shout. Sagan's green jersey could be in threat if team orders come into play, but, ability-wise, the parcours is perfect for him - lots of lumpy stages where he can get in the break and take the points at the intermediate sprints and he'll finish top three (second) on most of the flat stages, too, probably. Looking forward to the race already, even if it means having to travel to see any of it. Imagine it'll come quite close next time...
  6. Me. Too much for my own good, probably.
  7. Back three is a bad idea, one man marker, one covering, and the third making sure his hair's swept properly Back four with fullbacks pushed on to act as wingers, narrow diamond in the midfield and two up front.
  8. Very much still considering not going, in spite of my comments in an earlier thread. Struggling to find any enthusiasm for it whatsoever. Leaving at half 8 tomorrow morning, so still time, but there's a number of other things I could do than sit and get pished for 4 days.
  9. Going by the rules, we should. Failure to control the crowd, or whatever it is.
  10. I think he'll go (his choice). His contract is up soon, no? The lack of respect in Georgia, and then whatever pish he was spouting about Bhuddism tonight are him believing his own press. The 'velocity' line was funny, but he doesn't have to do it every time there's a camera pointed at him.
  11. Cheers An hour ago I was saying I was never going to watch a match again, but I've always said you support the team through the shite for one day of glory. Although, I totally understand why folk stop going. Have also called the SFA/SSC out for prices they charge. We pay prices you'd expect of the 'big' teams, but deservedly finish fourth. Something fundamentally wrong in that situation.
  12. Watching Scotland, unfortunately. I hate myself for saying it, but it's true - I'll be at the game on Sunday, behind the team as if their past pishness has never happened
  13. I won't be surprised if Blatter is still in charge a year from now. The man has teflon skin.
  14. That's what they want you to think
  15. Including myself in that comment. I've called Forrest out enough times.
  16. Be interesting reading the board tomorrow if Forrest sets up Fletcher for a goal
  17. Aye, I wasn't wanting to blame him directly, but Panucci was Fletcher's 'man' and he was nowhere near him.
  18. Shite decision, compounded by bad defending. Free header 6 yards from goal isn't good enough.
  19. Some decent looking stuff, there, but could they no have put the wee Vauxhall badge on everything.
