  1. Can't believe what I'm reading. Hanley is a complete dumpling and our weakest link.
  2. Whilst Germany have dropped points so far, to suggest we should be looking to take a point from them is daft. We will go all out for the 3 points in Georgia and then hope for the best against the best team in the world.
  3. Myself and a few pals refused to attend both the Georgia & England games due to the cost. If they half the price of the Gibraltar tickets I'll be there. If not, I'll just watch it on the tele again.
  4. Thankfully Scotland fans never sit in the home end on away trips.
  5. There is absolutely no chance that Darren Fletcher will start.
  6. Perhaps the worst part of it was Goodwin running back over to Connolly telling him to get up as if nothing had happened. The Linesman on that side needs to have a word with himself too, was right in front of him.
  7. Let's hope you're jumping the gun a bit eh.
  8. Given the players who have been called up 'for experience', I'd suggest its more likely to lead folk to think that he isn't watching. As I said before, how will this resonate with the kids at Killie, Hamilton & ICT? Jeez, you could even suggest the kids at Hearts have the right to be a bit miffed given that most of them have played in the top division and they are currently top of the league.
  9. You could at least argue that Gauld & McGregor merited it. What has MacLeod done? For me, this is a kick in the teeth of all the young guys who are excelling for the Killie, ICT, Hamilton etc. this season. At it.
  10. Followed through on to his foot/ankle, was clearly trying to leave a mark - akin to almost all spfl footballers who come up against GMS. He isn't. Doesn't have the legs for that. Plays further forward. Tbh, I can't even believe Allan is being discussed on this board after a few good games for a championship side. He's a million miles away from being in a Scotland squad.
  11. Which is daft. Anya, Brown, Bryson, Burke, Snoddy, GMS, Armstrong, Bannan, Maloney, Morrison, Dorrans, Gauld, Forrest, McArthur, Russell, Adam, Boyd, Pawlett, Conway, Phillips, McGregor, McDonald, Arfield. A sample. I'm sure we could all think of more yet who play at a higher level and who have actually done something in recent years.
  12. Aside from injuring GMS last night with a completely unnecessary challenge, he played well. To suggest he might get into a Scotland squad any time in the near future is a bit daft though - I could name at least 15/20 players ahead of him in the position he plays.
  13. That would be entirely up to Sturgeon, and that, is a helluva big assumption.
  14. I'm not saying he is the answer; just highlighting that he is scoring more this season (in Strachan's preferred system) than Rhodes - who seems to be a messiah to some. I don't know what you've seen of Stevie May, but whilst he does put in a helluva shift, he's not particularly fast. On Russell, he is fast, but he seems to drift in and out of the Derby starting 11, and as far as I'm aware he plays on the wing for them.
  15. He's scored more than double what Rhodes has this season though. Importantly, he's also done this playing as a lone striker.
  16. Yep. I think a lot of people are wrongly conflating the two positions.
