I like this but id swap fletcher for brown. there is a love in for brown because he does good against inferior players in spfl. If anyone watched last night and Id love to see the stats fletcher done more running than anyone and hes always looking to go forward. he has played something like 90 games in a row for WBA who are 9th in epl so is battle hardened against good players. more importantly he cares brown doesnt.

Eh no he was nae and being fantastic against inferior opposition is easy. he done no too bad against city and Germans away.all others Inc England match he's been where he's been for last 5 years which is nowhere.

He will be starting soon im sure of it. impact player for top of bundesliga at 19 is brilliant as far as im concerned now. but wgs will still go with maloney or someone hes pals with. As for brown he is an embarrassment we dont need him imo. i dont know the reason for that but i would imagine it wasnt in his list of priorities. same as alex ferguson not taking on the scotland job over the years but ill bet you wouldnt slag him for that! people have been going to football matches and singing about lots of things other than football for years its about celebrating where your from and all the good things that are where your from and all the things to slag your opponents. football is tribal and maybe if we had loads to sing about football wise (if wed won a world cup for instance) then this subject wouldnt be getting discussed. i cant be arsed looking through all your posts but im sure you would like to sing about independence and the referendum etc etc but what has that got to do with football? the answer is nothing but its about who we are and I rest my case.

for someone that doesnt care about olympics you seem to know about the commonwealth games which seems strange. I know there were no scots playing at this year ryder cup but there were 2 scots vice captains which i presume you are aware of. one an aberdeen fan. to finish i will say that if there is anyone in Scotland who does not wish Andy Murray well or who thinks he is not or should be an inspiration to the kids of today then in my opinion they dont know much about sport in general. Agree totally and I hope I am wrong but I can't imagine the players will be happy with him wanting to play when he wants. Darren Fletcher for instance has had a career brown can only dream about and also has respect from players be can only dream about and never retired even in his Ill health days. Players at any level would be miffed if someone wants to just come in for the BIG game.The media obviously love brown as look at the different reports on him retiring and Hutton. Yep im the same mate,my 1st game v them was 1985 at hampden in pishing rain,i was 13 and still tell my boys about it.took them 2 years ago at celtic park they were 13,9 and i and them were so excited but the game and atmosphere was crap. think the last few games have nearly finished us all. You could have a point there as whilst I have not seen a lot of him, Strachan has called Mcdonald into squad so he must have seen him while watching fulham who I felt looked big and slow.

I have read a lot about this boy but not really seen him in a full game only highlights previously and always thought he looked good. I watched him last night vision Brentford in a championship game and I am astounded he is nowhere near the squad. The boy is the main man for Fulham and everything goes through him I lost count of the amount of chances he created and also scored at the end. This boy will be in as soon as Strachan is out. That is the problem in my view this so called core support, in the majority most dont give a toss kilt/feather in the cap wearing divs. This is the whole country we are talking about and the apathy towards the national team is because of 1,performance and 2, other football fans that go to domestic games cannot be arsed with all the "their for the party brigade". This core support still singing doe a fkn deer. the most embarrasing song ever in my book. If they were such a great support every game wed have new songs but they are that far up their own arses they still think they are great. games have been shit for a while and we have been outsung on numerous occasions over the last few years.

yes i am with you on that and i am also hurting the same as yourself and most of TA but and this is the thing there are a lot who will not be bothered coz they have had a piss up abroad and they are the ones who will be on here know f a about football and get everyone falling out. we need to be a threat but gordon who (i was glad when he became manager) wants us to play like all the top teams 4-2-3-1 when we dont have good enough players to do it. Griffiths and burke are our main threats and snoddy to a lesser extent we need to utilise them all. our main threat from gordons perspective i feel is our left backs! enough said.

yes he was poor both games but i watch a lot of football and have never seen him play wide left for leeds,norwich,hull or scotland until weekend and last night and that is down to strachan.

never said we had worldbeaters but the 3 players i mentioned i feel all of them should have been playing he hasnt given a reason why and neither can you. robertson motm on sat.burke most dangerous on sat.griffiths top goalscorer by miles in domestic games and more efforts than other 2 put together in a fraction of time the other 2 had in last games.

im with you mate, when it goes wrong its so depressing as its that long to wait for another chance of qualifying. its his decision making that i also think has got everyone so pissed off. no one can win every game but the amount of times he goes and picks someone other than who the majority would just gets everyone mad and want him out. i have 2 boys now 15 and 11 and they have never had a thing to cheer other than last year home v ireland and my eldests first game v georgia (beattie last minute winner) and other games in that qualifyimg, that frustrates the life out of me and i can see how they wonder why i get so excited at the start of every tournament as they think we have no chance.

we need an outsider with as others say has no old pals act. strachan is also i feel always thinking of the players and their clubs and doesnt want to tire them out if not playing,scared to bring them if their not going to play etc i know i will be in minority but apart from centre backs which is a very important position i think we have loads of options of players. all this needing a striker as a focal point is ok if you have great players round about him but we only have good players not great so we need players with goal threat who score goals and our main 2 were not given full games there griffiths/burke why oh why/
