  1. No. I suppose my comments last night were sheer frustration. I concede that Sturgeon doesn't want us under lockdown. But my sheer frustration is that every time a new variant appears we react like rabbits in yhe headlights. We simply cant live like this indefinitely.
  2. The opening part of your second paragraph is absolutely bang on. Given that the hospital numbers are still way below the peak of January and 2.5million people triple jagged, there is no justification for this nonsense. As I write, 220m further funding from The Treasury. So if you want a pre-Christmas pint, make hay while the sun shines this week.
  3. Who is saying I know better. Or greeting like a bairn. Fact is all of this is way over the top. So are we just supposed to disappear down a rabbit hole every time a new variant appears? As it happens I backed Sturgeon and Leitch four square for the most part of all of this pandemic. As mentioned previously, Im quadruple jagged and abided by all the rules last year. But they can go and ram this circuit breaker. And you conveniently ignore my comments about what South African experts have been saying. But hey ho...
  4. Aye, target an industry where there is little evidence the spread comes from the likes of pubs. We were told vaccines and boosters were our only way of this. 2.5m have had their booster and rising rapidly and yet we here scientists saying this isn't enough. And against a variant which South African doctors have repeatedly said is a less severe version. Still, the celebrity dentist etc know best
  5. Looking more and more likely we will be seeing restrictions around the New Year if Jason Leitch's interview is anything to go by. Personally, I think its too late. Stable doors and horses spring to mind
  6. Is it? At her briefing last Friday she more or less hinted that if she had the funds she would shut down hospitality. Im an SNP man to my bootstraps and always will be but in my eyes Sturgeon always sees hospitality as the sector to give a kicking when this pandemic takes a turn for the worst.
  7. And what they are not telling you is that Dr Angelique Coetzee who detected this variant , amongst other South African medics and doctors, have said that this is a much milder variant and having little impact on hospitals and, more importantly, deaths in SA But hey ho lets all get excited at a few graphs by a few lockdown fanatic professors.
  8. So where is the data about this causing mass hospitalizations, like Sadiq Khan is claiming? Hospitalisations below 500 up here. 34 in ICU. Nuff said
  9. So you are all happy that the minute Sturgeon gets funding from BoJo she will happily order pubs and restaurants to shut whilst not admitting letting in delegates from across the globe, including Africa, is most likely the primary cause of Omicron being seeded. Coming from someone who is quadruple jagged and supported her for the most part of this pandemic. Being taken for absolute mugs
  10. Sadly, I think you are right. People have simply had enough of all of this. Especially when you still have all of the fallout from the Tories Christmas parties shenanigans. I just get the feeling Sturgeon is gagging for another lockdown.
  11. Farke is a close mate of Thomas Tuchel. My guess is that he did have a say, but bonkers not playing Gilmour. Can see Gilmour being recalled by Chelsea in January. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him at Villa as Gerrard a big fan by all accounts
  12. I think UEFA should make the process far more interesting and drag in a seven sheets to the wind Rod Stewart to conduct orderly proceedings.....
  13. Feet up, glass of red in hand and watching the action unfold elsewhere without a care in the world knowing we are in the play offs. Completely unScottish. I could get used to this 🤣🤣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
  14. The amount of knickerwetting on here is fucking hilarious.
  15. Be only a matter of time before he leaves for one of the EPL big guns
  16. Yep. Quite a few of the Rangers lads in my local absolutely despise him. In a weird kind of way, I’d like Clarke to be linked with that gig, if only for the sheer comedy value at watching their reaction 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  17. They say watching Scotland takes years off you, but after that I feel like an octogenarian. Torture doesn’t cover it, but but......another 3 points. We just seem to have the knack of pulling a result out the bag when we need it We were a lot better second half. But we need to be at it from the off. Two games in a row we have not been at the races in the first half
  18. The thing that struck me was that normally with a few minutes left folk start drifting off towards Mount Florida Station etc. Where I was sat, no fucker was leaving. It was absolutely gripping stuff
  19. I’m going via Amsterdam and Bucharest to Chisinau. Does anyone know the score with the likes of Covid tests given the SG are taking a different approach. Is it defo a PCR test on arrival in the UK.
  20. I know exactly where that lodge is in Renfrew. It’s across the road from the local Catholic high school 🤣🤣
  21. Sure did. And good on them. Think the problem down here is that the councils are riddled with these arseholes. I’m sure the knuckle dragging fuds encouraged swathes of their members to stand in the 2017 council elections. And a good number were elected
