  1. Yes, however, there are four Euro 2020 places available. One team from each league will qualify. This gives smaller countries the chance to qualify. One country from each league (inc the bottom one) will qualify. Here are the current projected rankings. We will likely be in League C and currently in Pot 2. http://www.football-rankings.info/2016/07/uefa-nations-league-update-15-july-2016.html I think its a great idea. Looking forward to it starting.
  2. As posted above, the UEFA Nations League will come before the Euro qualifiers: Six match days - Sep, Oct & Nov 2018. With the Final Four for the teams who win the top group (that cant be us) in June 2019. The play off matches (from Nations League) will place in March 2020 (yes 16 months after the group games). The UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying draw will be held after the completion of the UEFA Nations League (so after November 2018) and allow for the four UEFA Nations League Final Four participants to be drawn into groups of five teams The European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2020 commence in March 2019. There will be two matchdays in each of March, June, September, October and November 2019.
  3. That update is for the Slovenia game - not the Slovakia game.
  4. Stick them on ebay. However, as posted above, home programmes are not worth very much. I am stuggling to think of any Scotland home programme back to 1960 that is worth more than a fiver.
  5. The Slovakia v England tickets went on sale the other day - they sold out in 4 hous.
  6. Same with me. In my group 5 are going to Malta but about 15 going to Slovakia.
  7. I think there will be more fans travelling to Slovakia than Malta. Could be looking at 3500 - 4000 going to Slovakia.
  8. 4000 was a great allocation and more than enough for the number of SSC members travelling. However with the England game coming up it looks like the increase in people buying tickets and not going has been huge. There will be a large amount of empty seats in Malta unfortunately.
  9. Yeah i agree i doubt he would get sacked either but perhaps he would resign. As you say, It is utterly depressing.
  10. I am still behind him but I have very little faith. We need 6 points from our first two games against Malta and Italy. If we fail to get 6 points in those two games then I think he should go.
  11. Unfortunately I don't think we will beat Malta and Lithuania twice.
  12. Yeah me either unfortunately..
  13. I have not read the rest of the thread so not sure if someone else has mentioned it or not but that is not true. The World Rankings will be used to seed the play offs at the end of this campaign.
  14. We were allocated 3000 for the Italy game but sold around 1100. There wasn't anywhere near that number that traveled, however, really hard to get an accurate number as locals were able to buy tickets for our end.
  15. 1100 tickets sold by the SSC but would think around 600-700 travelling. Plus you have Scottish holidaymakers and Scottish immigrants who live in Malta.
  16. I don't think they are allowed to use any Euro 2016 stadium. I think Metz was one of the bigger stadiums available to use.
  17. Yes they will both take part in the upcoming qualifiers - it is expected they will go into the 2 small groups and Russia will need to find alternative friendlies. It should be confirmed by UEFA soon.
  18. Its worth a call tomorrow - we have 1900 unsold tickets so I am sure they will be able to help.
  19. Absolutely. The group with Russia currently in it (for friendlies) would switch their games from Russia to Kosovo or Gibraltar and the other group would play the other team on their free match day. It's not long till September so I am sure plans have already been made by some fans.
  20. That's easy - the first game. Next game (qualifier) is always the most important. The pressure will be on Strachan and the team to start with a win.
  21. Haha that would certainly be good for us but with 2 small groups without a 6th seed it makes it easy for FIFA to slot them in there.
  22. I think Kosovo and Gibraltar will both be given full membership of FIFA this month and both will compete in the WC qualifiers in September. Russia will have to look elsewhere for friendlies which I am sure they will not be too pleased about.
  23. If he never admitted breaking the rules by buying another ticket he would have probably got the point. There is no way the SSC would let him off with helping another fan harvester a point after him admitting it. If it was me I would have went to the pick up point the minute it was open and if I did I am almost certain they would have helped there and then.
