  1. But we scored from it anyway so the luck part didn't matter. I also agree it was a desperate assessment of that game from Strachan. I have never been so flat at a game, realising how far we were behind them. He should take a look at the possession stats, that will tell him it was nothing to do with luck.
  2. You need to check the group. If that happened we would be through.
  3. Hutton was always involved first half tired the second. Always the same players that get it in the neck after a defeat.
  4. Who the fk is looking down on them and why would you compare it to my 2nd language skills. Too many on here see any opinion as anti immigration. Read the statement again and my response. He stated the people the English reporter spoke to had a decent grasp of the English language. That is something I agreed with. However, if he spoke to most others, they wouldn't speak a word of our language. Nothing racist, nothing anti immigration.
  5. They wouldn't get on our news if they didn't speak English. The vast majority know zero English.
  6. How do you know which term was first? I never heard the word chink growing up, only ever heard chinky for a Chinese meal, so maybe chink is a derived from chinky and not the other way round. At the risk of sounding like minimoo, do you know who said what first?
  7. I have never used it in a derogatory manner.
  8. I'm not sure if you are on the wind up or not. In relation to going for a chinky, what words do you think chinky relates to? I am 100% certain it is slang for Chinese and meal.
  9. You would need to ask the very first person who uttered this word. Maybe he/she tried Chinny, Cheal, Chinal and some others and Chinky just stood out. No idea. Are you offended?
  10. Probably in just the same way as chip shop comes out as chippy or Icey for ice cream van but I'm sure you know that. It's just how slang works.
  11. Chinky was always used in my house as one of many foods shortened through laziness. Everyone knows that chinky is a combination of two words, Chinese and meal and has zero abuse attached to it. In the same way that cornies or ricers were for cornflakes and rice crispies. Or spag bol or totties or hundreds of others. People are far too uptight about these things and immediately think that somehow this is a racist term. It's not. In fact when I hear most people now saying they are going for a Chinese, I honestly wish they would finish the sentence.
  12. I would rather you didn't comment on this subject considering how bitter you are on it. Anyone who thinks it makes a difference to what a person voted after being tragically killed by a bin lorry should not be allowed near a public messageboard.
  13. At least the guys being honest. Many people have differing views on what they wish to happen to the migrants and word it in different ways, this is his view and he won't be the only one.
  14. And Gerard does it consistently? If I had to construct a list of players who don't dive, he would be in it.
  15. Really? If I was asked to name the biggest culprits my first three would be Klinsmann, Ronaldo and Drogba. I actually struggle to watch a Spanish game now because almost every player is at it. Have I picked you up wrong do you really believe Scottish and English players are worse than foreigners for diving.
  16. What about Scottish players don't have as good a touch as 'foreigners'. Or that Scottish players are not as fit as foriegners. Is that racist against us?
  17. But that is an entirely different situation. You worked an extra day or so off your own back, a lot of people do that. You don't mind putting in an extra shift when needed. What the drivers are being asked to do will be happening for the rest of their careers, it's hardly the odd shift now and again.
  18. You would carry out any additional hours or shifts that your boss asked you? For nothing? Look yourself in the mirror man.
  19. Have never subscribed to this channel but I can now get it. Has some agreement been reached because of the Copa, I know the same happened for the Rugby League World Cup when we got free coverage throughout that tournament.
  20. Of course it matters. There is a huge difference in the BBC stating that she is the most dangerous woman in Britain (without question mark) or if the BBC asks the viewers if she is the most dangerous woman in Britain (with question mark).
