  1. I know folk miss the Saturday home games but back when I started going to matches pretty much all international matches were Wednesday nights with the exceptions of the home internationals and tournaments (remember them?)
  2. I'd imagine it was publicised over ATAC's social media too such as facebook and twitter
  3. excellent read. thought Get Shorty could have got a mention though.
  4. I thought it was very useful. I know some folk like to print it off but was the idea not for it to be digitally used so it could be updated if necessary/possible?
  5. Hopefully hurricane Matt Elliott doesn't cause your point to spill on Saturday
  6. of course there will be more available. all the family budgies won't shuffle off their mortal coil until the end of the week or over the weekend.
  7. why would the England away tickets go on sale before the Slovakia away match has taken place?
  8. EDI to VNO via BRU. Thursday to Sunday. £220. can't recall it ever being cheap to get here on any of the four previous trips.
  9. same here. they'd even gone to the trouble of making sure the tickets from both orders were sequential seating then split in to two envelopes! maybe they've shares in Royal Mail?
  10. Ticket pickup for this match will be 25% - one in four for the numerically challenged. Pickups will aim to be in Bratislava on Monday evening and Tuesday morning and Trnava before kick off. Other interesting info will be available when ATAC release their sporran guide this week (hopefully tomorrow). It'll be available digitally on social media platforms, the ATAC website and there'll likely be a link on here too.
  11. plenty tickets to be had for those matches - we'll be well out of contention by then
  12. the train from Prague to Trnava is approx. £20 a head and that's a 4 or 5 hour train journey. free bar on the buses?
  13. the West End Hotel could be worth a shout too. I know folk that take kids there before and right after Hearts matches but not sure of the rules. it'd be worth contacting them: http://www.thewestendhotel.co.uk/
  14. Platform 5 at Haymarket allows kids in until 10pm so long as they're in the upstairs bit and there's food involved. plenty TV screens there and a couple of platters of food should see you ok. being close to the train station means the clientele differs from one day to the next but you should be ok. you'd probably be able to get the tram from the airport to Haymarket which would make it easy.
  15. My group stayed there for £36 each a night. 7 pools, a dozen bars and cocktails by the pool.
  16. The crowd were well up for that match though especially after the way their "fans" treated us over there. One of the few anthems that've been booed at Hampden which, again, was a result of the Kiev experience.
  17. Still stinks if it's the incident. And if the old gadgie subsequently got followed and battered then I'm disappointed he didn't report it to the polis so as to stop pricks like that attending matches abroad. Can't remember if that bar (assuming same incident) had cctv.
  18. After those two results qualification was out of our hands. Disgraceful tactics.
  19. I'm aware of an older Scotland fan getting attacked by a younger one who had one of those tribal tattoos on his face. The bouncer of the pub chucked out the attacker and gave him a slap which nearly caused said attacker to start greeting. Wasn't aware that the older guy was then hunted down and attacked. These games in the sun fairly attract a lot of holiday making wallopers to our support. If the OP confirms the bar and day it happened then I'd imagine it's the one I'm aware of.
  20. not really. it's a top hotel but when we booked we got it for £35 a night. 7 swimming pools and about a dozen bars.
