Unfortunately with the issue being political now it’s a question that’s coming up because in some circles you’re a bigot or not enlightened if you don’t think a transwomen is a women, why exactly this is being pushed by a very small minority to the detriment of actual trans people is anyone’s guess.
But what % of voters does this apply to? Very small. And the vast majority would still vote yes if given the chance. Your average voter probably doesn’t care about these different fractions arguing or who said what on their blog or on twitter.
If staff at the stand don’t want to work an event she’s scheduled to appear then fair enough, not sure that side of the “issue / debate” would be happy if another venues staff did the same thing with someone on their “side” but it’s all very tedious
If it’s unachievable then tell voters that rather than leading them along just to get votes from nationalists at election time. “Just one more mandate to show Westminster” it’s beyond a joke now.
No I think there’s a solid support for independence, not 50% if you go by the polls but not far off, but any momentum is fleeting because the snp don’t have a strategy hence why things just seem to fizzle out and nothing happens.
Didn’t Humza say something about prioritising independence on day 1 if he’s leader? I can only speak for myself but I don’t trust a word they say anymore on independence, too much talk and no action.
9) On what logical basis can you possibly argue that the UK Government would be more likely to agree to a Section 30 order if a sustained supermajority for Yes is established, given that they would have even less of an incentive to allow a referendum to take place once it looks unwinnable for the No side?
Exactly. They either don’t know what they’re doing anymore in terms of the next step in gaining in independence or just manipulating voters into keeping them in a job
