  1. Messi had an overall excellent World Cup in 2014. 90 minutes shouldn't define a career.
  2. Exactly "the hate us and our values" As said by some Tory this week.
  3. It's funny that on the topic of Scottish independence, you quite rightly question what the mainstream media are saying but in terms of "Islamic terrorism" and Isis you appear to be buying everything you're told.
  4. "In 1957, my grandfather, Ambassador Joseph P. Kennedy, sat on a secret committee charged with investigating the CIA’s clandestine mischief in the Mideast. The so called “Bruce-Lovett Report,” to which he was a signatory, described CIA coup plots in Jordan, Syria, Iran, Iraq and Egypt, all common knowledge on the Arab street, but virtually unknown to the American people who believed, at face value, their government’s denials. The report blamed the CIA for the rampant anti-Americanism that was then mysteriously taking root “in the many countries in the world today.” https://www.google.co.nz/amp/www.politico.eu/article/why-the-arabs-dont-want-us-in-syria-mideast-conflict-oil-intervention/amp/
  5. When we attack them, it's for democracy, freedom and human rights. When they attack us, it's for Islam.
  6. Stop bombing their countries, stop using proxy groups who cause more terrorism than western countries will ever experience. Stop selling arms. Stop supporting Israel and Saudi Arabia. There's probably more. The evidence will come out eventually but western intelligence agencies are using Muslims to further their own geo political interests.
  7. "I am BEYOND done with Brad Bauman, DNC crisis specialist who is family spokesman for Rich's framing legitimate questions and concerns around Seth's murder as hurtful to the family. THIS IS A MURDER INVESTIGATION. To pursue a highly logical train of investigation and frame it as cruel to the family to discredit the legitimacy is BEYOND manipulative. The people disrespecting Rich's family are not those asking serious questions and pursuing a reasonable thread of motive and timeline of investigation. No, the people who are disrespecting Seth's family are those USING the family to shield legitimate investigation. All recent statements from family are channeled through these Democratic PR strategists. It is BIZARRE to be having family members dismiss importance of even future evidence on the grounds it may be faked. And, lastly, in terms of the actual investigation, the Rich's family opinion of what is and is not significant is NOT the defining factor on whether that information IS important. In fact, since the family is so CLOSE to it and they are bound to be far more emotional and less objective. It is RIDICULOUS to talk about not pursuing ANY logical thread of investigation because it upsets the family. And, the fact that people would actually join in and call for people to CEASE asking legitimate questions on this basis shows citizens divorced from any semblance of critical thinking. Wikileaks has all BUT stated Rich is the leaker, they retweet near every story that implies that he is the source, they offered a REWARD for his murder. Meanwhile, we have a investigation that appears to meet the definition of coverup. So, no. I won't be shutting up about this investigation and I will continue to highlight relevant information. I am concerned that the framing of the facts is now being obfuscated by the non-evidence of Kim Dotcom (I will withhold judgement til actual evidence is produced from this individual, not some vague statements of possible future evidence) and Hannity being the individual carrying the torch for this investigation. This doesn't help our cause and I would suggest sharing information outside these two sources based on the known facts as much as possible." lifted from the sane progressive Facebook page.
  8. Been following this as well. Wikileaks have all but admitted that he was the source of the Clinton email leaks as well. The DNC lawsuit is really interesting as well, especially as their defence is basically that it's their right to rig the primaries. Absolutely no mainstream coverage that I'm aware of.
  9. I tend to agree. I've always considered myself left wing but the EU referendum and the US election have shown many many faults in supposedly left wing politics.
  10. Before the Manchester attack I was starting to think that the conservatives wanted to lose their majority. Not the worst time to either lose the election or be in a coalition, let labour deal with leaving the EU (which the EU will do everything they can do make unsuccessful) the Scottish dilemma and the next inevitable banking crisis.
  11. The elephant in the room here is that the UK government have been helping fund, train and arm ISIS etc with their continued trade deals and political support with Saudi Arabia. Too many of us, a terrorist attack so close to the election is far too convient. Especially when this person was known to the intelligence agencies and was allowed to freely travel between the UK and the Middle East. This attack serves a political agenda that most people can't comprehend because our morals aren't shared by the powers that be.
  12. Indeed. There's almost no incentive for them as long as the public legitimise their lies by playing the game and voting for them.
  13. True but it's probably heavily biased. 5 mins googling the author supports that. Trumps many things, but he can't reverse globalisation in 3 months, even if he wanted to. These people spending every day arguing that Trump is the problem are at it.
  14. It's very early days but I can't see him being the anti establishment president he promised. But he won't be half as bad as the left will make him out to be.
  15. How many years has Strachan been in charged and people are still mentioning Bardsley? Anyway he won't be playing so think we need to continue with Tierney, as I think we should even if Bardsley was an option. Can we pick 11 players this time and leave out Forrest? Nothing against him personally but many caps is that now with almost no end product. Similarly I'm not convinced Snodgrass in a wide position is a good idea against England. Guess we can see now his form and fitness is nearer the time.
