Cheers neilser. I did mean to mention that Hearts teams as the poss last one I could think of on a winning streak (didn't know for sure though). That must be a non-OF record for the last 20-25 years. Didn't realise that about Celtic. Quite incredible not having a single goal against them in such a long run. Now I think about it, that would have been when Forster broke some sort of Scottish/British clean sheet record.

When was the last time any team in the top league in Scotland (outwith the OF probably) won 8 league games in a row ? Incredible run. Also when was the last time any team in the top flight in Scotland did it without conceding a goal ? I don't know the answers but maybe some Statto here might.

I only ever spent a few hours in Montpellier but it did seem pretty decent and I've heard lots of good things about it too.

If you're starting in Bilbao, the natural path (and the one I'd recommend from spending many weeks/months for much of my life there) is then to San Sebastien, then over the border via St Jean de Luz and Biarritz. The Basque region on both sides of the border is brilliant on the coast and inland (mountains etc). If you're then heading east toward Eastern Europe then follow the Pyrenees towards the Med and after that..........many options. Lyons would be a big and unnecessary detour. You'd be better off following the coast towards Northern Italy and across IMO.

Not quite as bad but I had ticket for Morocco game but didn't travel to France in the end. Still regret it massively to this day to have missed out on a wee trip to a WC (despite the result).

When Utd won the Scottish Cup and came 3rd in the league in 2010 I'm sure I heard Steve Thomson saying Utd's profit that season was about £67k. So I can't think how we could have made anywhere near that amount quoted above, unless it included a lot of the transfer money.
