  1. He didn’t blame Forrest for the defeat, he said he was pure push which is an accurate statement for the James Forrest that turns up for Scotland. You’ve got some cheek calling him a clown when you didn’t even read his post properly as for your digs at O’Donnell and McLeish picking hearts and killie players - you really need to stfu because your making a complete twat of yourself.naismith Souttar and O’Donnell did very well in the match against Albania so they deserved a start last night but the performance they put in wasn’t good enough last night, that doesn’t mean they should be binned, especially souttar and O’Donnell. If we start binning young players after one poor performance your lovechild would have sent to the fucking moon by now. clown indeed 🤡
  2. he never said that, the media reported it that way. As kenny Miller said last night, you don't pick and chose when you play for scotland. if you are dropped because someone is playing very well, you pull your socks up and make the management think again. If Naismith got injured, Griffith could seize that chance. Going in the huff is the worst choice Griffiths could have made but he will feel vindicated now because his current captain and former scotland captain has backed his decision and described it as brave There is nothing wrong with the way Mcliesh managed this situation, he was complimenting a very good performance and in form player in Naismith.
  3. And round and round we go. You basically just proved my point. Maybe one day the clubs will see sense and forget what’s gone on in the past for a small period of time and we can get on with improving the game i Scotland
  4. Assuming what I’ve been sent is accurate, The rangers statement regarding tickets is genuinely unbelievable.
  5. Leigh is brave according to our former captain https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45814174
  6. Griffiths - he didn't have to pull out - entirely his fault Fraser - McLiesh confirmed Fraser tried everything to stay but it didn;t work out Mcarthur - pulled out but I doubt that has anything to do with the manager The players looked energised and up for it against Albania and thats after a heavy defeat to Belguim. I'm not sure where this evidence is, can you show me please?
  7. great point, we need a manager who is willing to drop those who are not committed. I didn't want eck to get the job but I am warming to him and faddy
  8. I agree with you, this is what Stewart Milne was on about and exactly why there needs to be changes made at the top. Unfortunately our clubs won't stand together to make it right
  9. surprise surprise. Pasta Mick takes the side of the celtic player - nothing new there maybe Griffiths should man up, take the bollocking and get on with the job he's supposed to do. McLiesh was proven right, Naismith turned out to be the correct choice because he was heavily involved in that win against Albania and was arguably MOTM. Why wouldn't he stick with Naismith after his good performance? Its up to Griffiths to take it on board and fight for his place, he seems to be up for the fight at club level but not at international level
  10. Ex players have been questioning what fitness he will gain whilst half his club team mates are away on international duty, if its about fitness. why not stay with his scotland team mates and get some proper training? Something doesn't add up. His fitness levels were fine to play against a reasonably good Europa league team and then again on the Sunday but not with Scotland. As I said, something doesn't add up, I can't be 100% sure but I think he's in the huff because I can't see eck cutting his nose off to spite his face considering we are not blessed with great options upfront. We need Griffiths to play or at least be there as an option.
  11. I didn't realise Griffiths started Celtic's most recent Europa and Premiership matches, so there absolutely nothing wrong with him? he's in the huff because McLiesh had a go at him.
  12. Fair play to him, it’s a sly dig at his team mates who aren’t committed IMO.
  13. There’s not much between them but mcgregor has the edge in recent weeks. Gordon is prone to lapses in concentration recently so mcgregor should keep his spot in goals for now.
  14. Meanwhile in Scotland we tell Griffiths and MacArthur it’s ok and send them on their merry way home. The national team really is becoming an after thought to some.
  15. that's probably why they have less call offs, they want to stay and fight for their place because they know they will be going to a major tournament
  16. At this point in time, the more selfish players won;t see Scotland as a benefit to them but you can bet your arse they'd be fighting fit if we were on the verge of qualifying
  17. Which would make those players fucking arseholes
  18. I'd play him upfront with Naismith and Russell as support
  19. I'm not sure what your point is Ally, I enjoy reading your posts regarding independence and you are clearly passionate but what point are you trying to make? EDIT - I should have read the rest of the thread. I couldn't care less how they voted, I disagree with them but it wouldn't stop me attending matches. Wish I could go to the match in Cardiff, have to settle for a trip back to Scotland for the Sprinboks match instead
  20. questions need to be asked about fraser now, other players get hammered for pulling out of squads and he's done it a few times now
  21. https://www.afc.co.uk/2018/10/08/dons-chairman-calls-for-summit/ I’d love to see other clubs rally round this but it’s scottish football so every club will think of themselves only. Before some of our resident children start, I do mean all clubs including Aberdeen. We can be just as guilty of making stupid decisions and I’m aware this statement is only happening because Aberdeen got fucked over but I doubt there’s a club or fan out there who thinks the game here is run properly.
  22. The Forrest hate 😂😂😂 its not hate, most if not all Scotland fans would love him to succeed and play well in a Scotland shirt, unfortunately he doesn’t.
