  1. Think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and sit in the home end Redz. Not looking forward to that but needs must! Sure I'll nbe able to find a seat surrounded by empty seats anbd be safe enough!
  2. Nah, somewhere more important to be. You up for the games in March?
  3. Never dragged you out after any meeting. Dragged you home is another matter.
  4. To be fair, he's usually never away from it. Generally hanging onto it for grim life as a a means of keeping himself from falling over.
  5. Aye right Flora. If that's so, why were you incandescent with rage and going apoplectic when I bought you a coke in a fine Govan hostelry before Christmas? I suppose it was because that was just over 90 minutes since your last large grouse!
  6. From where I was sitting I didn't see anything wrong with Conso's goal but will happily stand corrected. Also did look like Mcginn played for it but the big Accies lad had been fouling the whole game and maybe Collum realised he had made a monumental cock up in not giving the penalty and sending him off then. Mind you I've been off the drink for 15 days now so everything is having a strange effect on me.
  7. If ever there was a need for a drink at a game it was today after watching that performance from the officials. Dearie me.
  8. Collum really is a disgrace. Got nothing right. Didn't see Rooney's goal, didn't give a blatant penalty. Chopped off two goals. Even got the sending off wrong as McGinn clearly played for the free by jumping into him. Still all in all a good weekend with a nice wee single on Hibs on Friday night at 13/8 and a nice wee 15/1 treble on the Dons, Gooners and Bradford today.
  9. The legend that is Doug Rougvie only got one cap.
  10. Really don't get this. Can understand fans missing out on games if they are sellouts but if Hibs and Aberdeen fans want to see their teams and can't get tickets in stadiums that will be less than half full then the authorities do really need to have a good look at themselves, become involved and sort something out with all the clubs concerned. I don't have a ticket for the Dons game at Parkred but I'll still go. I'll have to go in a home end section. Far from ideal but if i speak nicely to some bobby in charge i may get put in with the Dons fans. More likely I'll get ejected though. May have to sit in silence then go for a good scrubdown afterwards.
  11. What's with the fishing? The old dear needing another salmon?
  12. Teecee. Looks like you (and big Jim?), Me, Parklife, Charlie Endell, One Willie Miller (banned) Flora (If he's not lost his golf clubs/wallet/mobile/fallen through the front door and been slapped about with a salmon could have our own party on the Friday night). I suggest O'Shaugnessy's.
  13. Depends if you want something central. Can't go wrong with Avenue Hotel. I stayed here in September 13, again in May 14 and staying here again in May 15. I have managed on each occasion to get it through hotelbooking.com with breakfast for between £47 and £51 a night. It's on Nieuwezids Voorburgwal which is parallel with the Damrak. When you come out Centraal station instead of heading down the Damrak take the next main street on the right of the Damrak. Stop off for a quick beer in the Flying Dutchman pub. It's less than 5 mins from the train station. Despite its location it's very quiet and the breakfast buffet is lovely.
  14. I posted on Aberdeen Mad 3 weeks ago saying McInnes had met him in Glasgow with a view to signing him. Must be getting offered a good deal from the Dons as he was on carcking money at Saints.
  15. No Flure. It was still Rangers. Pollok now though
  16. Handier for you too wigtonshire matt if it were played in Kilmarnock!
  17. He must have been cursing our 8 game winning streak then.
