I hope he's not washing up or serving on. i can only think of Peter McCloy & Nicky Walker? McCloy was certainly better than Maxwell. Walker was average but still better. Also managed a couple of caps for Scotland. I remember one v Germany when we only lost 1-0 to a German team containing Thon, Kohler, Hassler, Matthaus, Sammer, Doll, Effenberg, Klinsmann & Riedle. We had Irvine, Bowman & McInally

Actually - they weren't. That was the Rats. I knew Mick Ronson well & Mick Woodmansey "Woody" to a lesser degree. They played the Duke of Cumberland at North Ferriby frequently as well as pubs & clubs locally. Mick used to work for the Parks Dept in Hull. Woody replaced John Cambridge who joined the Mandrakes - Robert Palmer's band. They changed their name to Treacle but changed it back as they weren't getting any bookings. I'll tell you tomorrow who suggested it. They only became the Spiders after they hooked up with Bowie.

Certainly not excusing what he did, but I was at the game & pretty sure Bougherra got sent off in the first half too, so not sure where the "cheating winning you the league" comes into it. Besides the league being won over a season, Rangers won the league by 4pts.

I could be wrong, but if I recall Lafferty got a 2 MONTH ban & was fined by Rangers. So not consistent?
