  1. was just replying like for like to renfrew blue - and my point is basic arithmetic. here is a question for you, what is 0 plus £8 million. That's right, it is £8 million, that is what extra money your club would have if they didn't spunk it away on ridiculous wages for a ridiculous squad of players. I have never said that your club doesn't have other money issues but the above is a simple fact. And if you can honestly look at Saturdays game and say that your team were not a bunch of thugs and that your fans sang a bunch of bigoted garbage then I am afraid that says a lot about you. PS last post on this subject for me
  2. tried WH Smith and Asda but no joy so got the online version. Not the greatest paper I have ever read but it is early days
  3. Rangers were the dirtiest team I have seen at Tynecastle for years. They set out to bully their way to a win and, thankfully, they failed. They could easily have ended the game with 7 men on the park. The only one who went down easily was Law who should hopefully be getting a visit from the compliance officer in the next couple of days; although of course the BBC didn't even mention his dive Apart from their thuggishness, their brand of football? was totally embarrassing to watch; it consisted of one of their fullbacks or centre halves getting the ball and booting it as far up the pitch as they could, was a throw back to the dark ages
  4. oh dear, sorry that just made me laugh. Can just imagine you going to the bank. " OF course mr. bank manager, we can afford to pay £8million pounds in players wages, no problem at all". Mr bank manager "But what about the fact you are losing hundreds of thousands of pounds a month?" You "AH, that doesn't matter as these aren't for players or are you stupid?" Bye bye says the bank manager. You really make me laugh but I think I'll just leave you stewing as I bask in another victory for football over industrial hoofball played by a bunch of thugs and supported by a bunch of bigots - happy days
  5. Wilson, Sow and Bauben all out, Holt to replace Bauben and McGhee in place of WIlson with Paterson back in at right back
  6. you said that players wages were not the problem earlier, now you are saying it wasn't sensible and money should have been kept back. Think you can't understand what you post. If rangers had spent a sensible amount on players they would have about an extra £8 million in the bank at this time
  7. you think a playing bill of nearly £8 million was required to get out of the 3rd tier?? Not to mention £800,000 to super Ally and God knows how much to the rest of the coaching team
  8. so what is the point in this thread then? you and you buddies across glasgow are as bad as each other
  9. Imagine some guy wanting Scottish fans to show respect - sad days indeed.
  10. what?? I will never sing that song again, at least not until we ever get Independence
  11. that's how I see it, every 2 years, alternate Wembley/ Hampden
  12. never have and never will boo another nations national anthem. Booed GSTQ plenty when it was 'ours' but England are free to have any song they want played as their anthem.
  13. no, there are 2 teams, celtic and the rangers. Everyone else is getting on with the football
  14. SO you reaslsied with your edit that you did mention the referendum and I quote "Nationalists like you make me relieved it was a No." the rest of your post is your usual attempt to take the moral/educational high ground and just makes you look like a sad sack so I'll leave it at that.
  15. charming. Scots who support Ireland for religious reasons are as bad as Scots who hate Ireland for religious reasons, two sides of the same coin. And why you keep bringing nationalists and the referendum into this I have no idea. As you well know, the loyalists were voting NO.
  16. Think you got the wrong end of the stick. His bit about having an affinity with Ireland were meant to convey they were loyalists, IMO anyway
  17. God knows I'm no supporter of the rangers and even less so the bears den but I can see why they might be upset at this
  18. sure you remember, a Hibs fan was caught grooming under age girls
  19. just thought I would remind you of this post
  20. Always thought Pressley would end up as Hearts manager but it looks like we are going in a different direction, building from within. Anyway, hope his latest tirade works for him, anyone who has lifted the Scottish Cup for us deserves every success
  21. there is no way we can complain about Irish fans in the home end when we do it all the time when we go abroad. The SFA have totally screwed up the ticket allocation for this game, no surprise there.
  22. I forecast this weeks ago on here. There is no doubt in my mind that he regrets his decision to turn his back on his country.
