exile
so it seems these days computers just, behind your back, go online and update themselves, and install a load of unsolicited rubbish on your hard drive the latest is some windows rubbish, went and installed itself, came over all charming - "Hi" it said - but meanwhile it's changed the desktop background, it's put a ridiculous ENG symbol up (as if to remind us we speak english) and the browser has now embedded bing without consent. I suppose we just have to get used to sharing power/control with our computers? (well just downloaded firefox and so kicked internet explorer into touch... bye bye bing!) Dave in London
Adobe are the worst. They must update weekly. I've disabled Windows update for years, it offers nothing in my experience. and disabling it has kept my computer running nicely. Download Malwarebyes and use it regularly, keep Zone Alarm running all the time, and you'll be laughing.
