gordont86
What time do you get in? I'm on the 13.15 from Stansted that gets in at 16:35. According to the Modlinbus site the first bus would be 17.05. I haven't scouted the train yet.
Gary Stirling
I'm not arriving till 4.35pm tomorrow afternoon, on the 1.15pm from Stansted to Modlin with Ryanair and booked on the 5.05pm Modlinbus into Warsaw Centre, only £10 for 2 of us but takes around 40 minutes. Tartan Eagle
G & G - this could be the start of a beautiful friendship! I'm on the earlier flight - in at 14.50. I've bought Modlinbus tix but they're only a fiver so I'm open to getting the train if it's easier or, more importantly swally-wise, quicker?? Dunty
The match ticket says all public transport is free on match day, does that not include the buses/trains from modlin? If not, heard taxis are pretty cheap anyway, £30. Get 4 of you in there and it'll be alright.
fanatyk
if you`re tight on schedule Modlinbus is better option. Train is ok but too much depends on connection with the shuttle bus airport- Modlin train station. Working day, early afternoon/evening will be fine but if you`re inexperienced PKP train user you can easily board train wthat stops at every station and takes 1,5h instead of 35-40 mins. Bus is safer option.
Modlin Lotnisko
Hi, I would like to confirm, that my company provide transfers from Modlin Airport to Warsaw. We made lot of transfers for members of this forum on previous game on March and all of them were happy with our services. We offer good comfort for reasonable price - transfer for 1-4 people cost only £30. It would be an honour for us to realise transfer for Scotland fotball team supporters. Our drivers will give some advice about Warsaw attractions, nightlife and how to spend good time in Warsaw. We also prepared Warsaw city guide brochures and small football gifts for You. Just write "Tartan Army" on booking form. Please let me know if You have any questions about our services. Tartan Eagle
Thanks everyone - early TA, late TA, Poles, Polish bus co. owners alike - TAMB at its best - Modlin Bus it is. Marcin/Modlin Lotnisko - I've booked two seats on the 15.20 but didn't know to put "TA" on the form. Will I still get my wee souvenir gift?
