  1. Favourites of mine in Sofia were the Happy Bar & Grill and a cheap wee back street bar called the Up and Down. In Skopje, go across the Old Stone Bridge to the Old Bazaar area for food & drink. We drove from Sofia to Skopje (mainly so we could also visit Ohrid), and it was an adventure in itself. The hire company provided the right border papers & insurance for Macedonia. I needed an international driving permit, but don't see them on the country list any more. August there will be a furnace.
  2. Any ATC out there? This is really tricky if you don't look at the comments (where the anoraks have posted already). If you get more than 2 right you are a cheat https://hushkit.net/2017/05/29/expert-level-aircraft-identification-quiz/ Otherwise, just enjoy ...like the Old Glasgow pics er... like cluster bombs & consumption, I know... sorry.
  3. Good shout. Though confess it's not that I remember the songs. No punk, I was too happy/preoccupied then perhaps, but can at least appreciate the sentiment & sheer energy now. Think I've got pissd-off nostalgia of summit.
  4. A moody 70s B-side. From Tom Petty & co vs It's Only Rock 'n' Roll... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO8PFRvXoRY
  5. TD, did they still have vinyl then, or was that a nostalgic song? I've just found my old 78s after all My dad liked this side which was maybe (geddit?) B. Watermelon Weather was the mibees-A? They look like a couple of awkward youngsters who would be happier behind some guitar and drums...
  6. Oh that's hard. Gave all my 78s away. I do remember that my sister had some cool(?) singles before she got into David Cassidy. The B-side of Jeepster (which I liked) was Life's a Gas. In comparison then, not a single, but...
  7. Jeez, you've too many posts for me to be arsed searching thought to see what was said before. (Yeah. gave up after a measly 2 seconds ) I have the impression that some of your posts advocated a right wing stance to capture (in my mind) right wing elements in Scotland. Maybe some low hanging fruit, as it were? Too far for me, personally.
  8. What do you mean by taking up Trump's coattails then? Have I misunderstood? Mibbe my memory . . .feck
  9. Yeah, but some of your posts seem to want the independence movement to become "populist" ...I'll use a gentle word. I agree absolutely with you above though.
  10. Thplinthy, Scunnered used to tell the TAMB that the SNP were right wing. Can you two sort this out for me please?
  11. * Folk that think someone coming in and lending support means they are one and the same person * I'm Jim and I am grim. Very. The closest I've been to a warning/ban on here was Flure doing some self policing on me. If he's me, I'm in Psycho the mini series. Mother, what have you done?!?!
  12. Aye, invent an internet persona and then lose control of it. Anyway, wtf is a Wishie boy doin' in Bothwell ffs? . . Sorry just lost it for a moment C'moan the Accies.
  13. I think Darren's been there to bring on less experienced midfielders. Who's been brought up to speed to be his replacement?
  14. Craig Murray's just had a maddie over that too. https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2017/05/bbc-news-pure-utter-tory-propaganda/
  15. Never done a line ever. Don't need to. Just listen to folk that have.
  16. I remember first time hearing this album. Headphones on a rack in a record shop. Stood there listening to the whole thing with a stupid grin on my face. Track #1...
  17. David Livingstone was not a weegie! (Though educated there.) Liked the Italian music for water skiing on Lago di Lomondo. Then Largs & Gourock crop up... "to the Glaswegian all the Clyde is home". Aye well. Still enjoyed it, cheers ET!
