The bears must have gotten big to beat the cold and bring down their prey which had the same body sized 'idea'. Humans were wee and sneaky. The bears would eat most of the meat, but leave scraps plus nice warm fur hides for the humans to scavange. It's amazing that walking around with smelly, dead un-tanned flesh around us to keep up warm we ever got a lumber, but man quickly learned to make shiny things, and never looked back...

It worries me that a lot of my favourite bands/tunes are trailer-trash white-American hard-rock/metal. I've certainly posted hunners of roots tunes that show where they came from. Probably because of those black roots, southern rock is where it is (was) for me, and Neil Young (though obviously a talent) doesn't come close. And, while taking the knee, that ladies and gents is as close as I'm going to the BLM thread. Thank-you-very-much, a-hu-huh.

Loving the chirp of house martins round here munchin' midgies and greenfly up in the sky. I'm sad that they no longer nest atop our burglar alarm. Maybe they got woken up too often 😞

It doesn't seem right that points from away matches will give you a better shot at home matches, but that's the system we have. However with 3 games, will high-pointers get tickets for all while those on lowest points get none? Could get complicated, but perhaps all members should get at least one game.

I'm gonna have to go into hiding after this one.
