  1. Wish they would throw these fookers out that keep shouting just before the serve.
  2. You wiuldnt piss on hin if he was on fire. Absolute khunt of a man.
  3. Every time I drive over the border into Scotland , I have to break into a wee rendition of Scotland the Brave. Been a tradition ever since my kids were small. Never done it on the train though.
  4. My house is in St Annes -so no offence taken. Most people just see the town centre of Blackpool and you are right about the residential areas close to there including near the football ground. But Blackpool is actually a rather big place and in general most parts would be lovely places to place - Stanley Park and its surrounds are lovely. Stanley Park itself is a fantastic place for people taking part in all sorts of sport - football, rugby, tennis, netball, athletics stadium , putting greens, golf course, boating lake.
  5. Just won £100 worth of Wickes vouchers on the Colin Murray show phone-in. David Millar was the guest in the studio so I thought Id speak about the Commonwealth Games cycling in Glasgow last year which was one of thee best sporting events Ive ever watched. Just prior to the start of the phone-in - Murray asked about anyone's favourite giant killing as he was speculating about Heather Watson having a chance against Serena Williams. You have to nominate which football team you support prior to going on - so I just said Scotland as opposed to any club side. Got a mention in for the James McFadden goal and our victory against France. Perry Groves got to pick what he thought was the best call for the Wickes vouchers - have to say other callers were even duller than me,
  6. Renfrew - Id throw in an allegedly or something in there. Mr Oyston tends to be very litigious - having sued several Blackpool fans for their comments on the Blackpool fans website. He is hated/despised by many fans.
  7. Did someone say there was a lack of diving - England centre-half blatant dive for penalty - if that was other way round commentators would be going mental . "We'll take it" - yeah cheat your way to this pile of pish.
  8. I'm not bothered about the comparison with men's football. Apart from a few skilful plays , the standard is shyte as sonofoi says above. I can live with it being shyte but the media are hyping it up big style as if its decent football. Anyways mon the Japan!
  9. The tax men aren't as quick when they owe you money. HMRC shocking .
  10. I listen to the Colin Murray show most days- some pretty decent discussions. H & J becoming a bit old hat now as has been said. Sometimes Goldstein and Cundy been quite good at night. As for the two mikes - just utter guff. Johnny Vaughan very hit and miss -but love their slaughterhouse/rugby league stuff on a Saturday.
  11. Just booked from Newcastle to Lisbon on Friday 9th. £120 quid via Heathrow using Skycanner and lastminute.com. £20 or so on train from Lisbon to Albufeira. . Not booked return yet - staying for a week - plenty of options - will wait and see if any cheaper prices appear.
  12. Most exciting horse to watch ever. Some astonishing races - what a horse it was. One of the few horses Ive ever profited from.
  13. Pearce was like that from the start. Both teams couldn't hold on to the ball/ I thought it was pish of the highest order.
  14. Absolute fkin drivel. One or two moments of skill but in general extremely poor. BBC bigging this up - no criticism from commentator or pundits. Its like watching the emperor's new clothes where anyone is afraid to say anything other than be politically correct. Goalkeeping is as usual woeful - praising Canadian keeper for making a simple catch. Co=commentator Sue Smith is straight out of the Phil Neville school of boredom. Far better football in a schoolboy match - I'm just watching it cos I have a bet on it. It is shyte of the highest order.
  15. What a fantastic game today Warrington v Leigh on BBC. Some brilliant tries - don't know how to copy video - but Kevin Pennys try was sensational finishing. Rugby league have changed rules so that the corner flag is not in touch - seen some amazing finishes but the one by Penny today probs the best.
  16. I forgot about Turkish Visa. Did one last year when on holiday. Ive got a day in Istanbul. Arrive at seven pm from London on Tuesday 1st. Then plane to Tbilisi next day round about sevenish in evening. £14 on booking .com for what looks like ok hotel in decent area. Wee bit of sightseeing to be done.
  17. Fook all wrong with kilts - doesn't matter what people wear. Personally I find the kilt look is more popular with the people of the country we are visiting and they feel more comfortable approaching us for a chat. Good to interact with the locals.
  18. Had a couple of guys right behind me shouting "Cmon get into these Fenian b astards" .. Thought about picking them up on it -but I was missed the moment and they never repeated it.
  19. Still recovering. Last night of three nights work tonight. Been in bed all day knackered this week. Tomorrow is start of four day golf trip to Dumfries..here we go again..new body required.
  20. I'm a real ale tosser as well. Fav being Brain's bitter, Bass, London Pride and Young's. Over in Dublin it was mainly Smithwicks's with the odd pale ale. Tried a Galway Hooker but she didn't taste very nice.
  21. Much as Maloney has been key to several goals and has been noticeable in that respect along with Anya - for me the two valuable players are Russell Martin who is the first organiser of thee defence since Davie Weir , but secondly and the most important is Broonie. Strachan seems to have a way of getting him to keep the heid and concentrate in being effective with just enough menace. On the negative side - I h=just don't get Steven Fletcher. His partnership with Naismith just doesn't work. Both of them were pish on Saturday. Naismith at least looks like he is trying but gave the ball away too much - Fletcher could have been replaced by most of the TA at the game and no-one would have noticed any different.
  22. I'm not gay but I do like some musicals ..especially Phantom of the Opera and West Side Story. Oh and I liked Girls Aloud as well.
  23. I've never ridden a hippo before ....erm wait a wee minute..mebbies I have.
  24. Flying into Dublin on Friday lunchtime from Newcastle, the team, management and the blazers were all there in baggage reclaim. Broonie posed for a photo, thought better about asking him which sauce he takes on his kebab. Shook hands with Mr Strachan. They all seemed quite approachable.
