  1. Watching the highlights, the two Rangers players did remarkable well not to smack him. Gerrard also spoke well in the interview with BT.
  2. Alleged racial abuse in the Rangers match. Against Glen Kamara. "Hate" Rangers all you like, but there is no place in modern society for racist behaviour. UEFA won't do anything.
  3. 18th March 2021. 20:14. Vs Slavia Prague.
  4. It's a yes or no question. I suppose some people will be reserving judgement till they see him in action, though, which Is fair enough.
  5. You didn't vote in the poll, so, apparently, you have no opinion on the matter. At least the 27 people that voted have Courage of their convictions.
  6. Another very good display against AC Milan. On the ball, not his best match, but off the ball he was great. He reminds me so much of a young Darren Fletcher. In Fletcher's formative years he was sloppy in possession and a big ragged. Once he matured he was brilliant. Would've been world class if he didn't have his illness. Scott McTominay will be some player when he matures.
  7. It was. I said that he made one decent (lucky) save and then someone replied to my post, saying that he was the best in the UK....LOL!
  8. If you aren't arguing then why say: "Not much difference to the form of Farense. Gauld must have been awful most of his career. I know that's not correct as both gauld and Armstrong are playing well." Armstrong has been bang average, like most of the Southampton team. Which is another reason I don't want Adams in the squad. He's been average, too. Yeah. Already told you. Certain people will argue that white is black, just for the sake of trying to contradict me. It is what it is.
  9. Another great display by Scott McTominay. Not always great on the ball, but brilliant off it.
  10. Really? Apparently, he wasn't clever for Slavia Prague's first goal. Was too busy watching a match between two giants. Just waiting on BT sports 2 to show the highlights. Care to retract any of that?
  11. You know, stuff like "keep digging" doesnt win arguments if logic isn't in the equation. You compared Armstrong not playing well to Gauld's displays, which says to me that you've not seen Gauld this season. This season Gauld is out performing bigger names. In the 06/07 season Farense were playing in the 6th tier of Portugese football. In the same year, Southampton where in the EPL. Tell me how Southampton and Farense are comparable again. Irrational? Nah. It's very rational. I swear, some people just argue with me just out of pure grudge rather than logic. For example, apparently, Allan McGregor is the best keeper in the UK.
  12. It's not even comparable. Southampton are an established EPL team. Farense have spent the best part of 2 decades in the second tier. Arrogance doesnt win you arguments, clearly. Logic arguments. You seem to think Farense are the Southampton of Portugal.
  13. He isn't. He's holding his own, but no more than that. Vastergaard has been their best player by several miles.
  14. He has been. The difference being is that Farense had spend 18 seasons in the Portugese 2nd Division, till this season. Southampton are an established EPL team. They've been there for the past eight years. Qualifying for Europe twice. (Not even going to mention their famous youth sytem: Alan Shearer, Mathew LeTissier, Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, Adam Lalana, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, James Ward Prowse, Danny Ings, Calum Chambers, Luke Shaw) If you were going to compare Farense to a current EPL team it would probably be Sheffield United.
  15. Are you sure? In Southampton's previous 15 EPL matches they've won twice. No one in the Southampton team can claim to be in the form of their life... unless their career has been truly awful.
  16. Unfortunately, it's getting to be an every day thing. In England a MMA fighter killed his girlfriend as he caught her in bed with a 15 year old boy. There's all sorts of wrong in that story.
  17. Kicking a player in the back? Leading to a red card? No. Normal behaviour for the number one keeper in Britain.
  18. Brother? Ok, Hulk Hogan. Watch England's equalizer when we played England in 10th June 2017. Brilliant assist for Kane.
  19. Hold on a minute. In this thread someone said that Allan McGregor is the number one goalkeeper in the UK, and my thread is the one that makes you chuckle?!?! So, you agree then? That Allan McGregor, a player who playing in the English Championship three seasons ago, I'd better than the number one of Holland, Portugal, France, Poland, England and Brazil? If that were truly the case, why isn't he with Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc, instead of a wee Scottish club?
  20. Scott McTominay starts against AC Milan. Nathan Patterson starts against Slavia Prague.
  21. Just because he plays as a defensive midfielder for his club doesnt mean that it's his best position.. McGinn and McTominay do the same at their clubs. Neither of them are "defensive". And if Gauld did play in a double-pivot, he'd do far better than McLean.
  22. How about 2 years ago when he was auditioning for a Bruce Lee biopic?
  23. McLean isn't a defensive midfielder.
