  1. https://www.bestsportstreaming.com http://livetv.sx/enx/ is my favourite. I would recommend a good VPN. You can buy a 1-3 year subscription for NordVPN on eBay for a couple of pounds.
  2. The Nations League was brought in to eradicate friendlies. So, in my view, these matches are glories friendlies. Yes, they may qualify you for the European Championships, but i'd rather do it the old fashioned way. These are free-hits.
  3. Ice baths help. They educe inflammation and accelerate recovery, mostly by changing the way blood flows through the body. When you're in a in cold water, your blood vessels constrict; when you get out, they dilate and open. This process helps flush out the body's system It's not an ice bath anymore, though. It's a cryogenic chamber. It's a lot less of an ordeal.
  4. Well, I thought these matches were the playoffs so I'm not one to comment. 😛
  5. Agreed, particularly with the people thing. It shows strength of character to be able to change your mind, as opposed to being lazy and stubborn and sticking with a reactionary impulse, even when you know it's wrong. lol. McBurnie is a strange one. He looks like a target man, but I don't think he is. He's lost when asked to be the lone striker. We'd see the best of him if we played a duel strike force. It does. SAF was the master of it, and it certainly brought Manchester United together. Hell, the United fans still think that there are ABU (anyone but United) people around. Hopefully it has the same effect and brings unity within the squad.
  6. It's going to be a lot tougher tonight/tomorrow morning against Felix Auger-Aliassime. He's a rising star in the game, a great striker of the ball and with wonderful movement. But he is quite inexperienced. Andy got the cryo session that he wanted, so hopefully that accelerates his recovery.
  7. lol. Well spotted. 😉 --- Ok. Didn't actually know that McLaughlin was a starter at Rangers. Don't really keep up with the OF news, so I'll change my team: McLaughlin Cooper - McKenna - Tierney Burke Taylor McGinn - Robertson - McTominay Dykes - Forrest
  8. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/kenny-mclean-issues-oli-mcburnie-22620321 Maybe this storm in-a-teacup will create a siege mentality, who knows. Hopefully. The Daily Record have a cheek publishing articles of players defending McBurnie a day after pasting the back cover with a spread of McBurnie's alleged betrayed. Talk about running with the Foxes and hunting with the Hounds.
  9. I wouldn't really say that he chose to stop dribbling. I'd actually say that Eddie Howe told him to stop. But I'll take your word for it, I was Scottish football sparingly, even back then. He was also the most fouled player in that season. It sounds like a compliment, but it's not. Last season Jack Grealish was the most fouled player, and Graeme Souness said something that I'd never thought of. He said that Grealish was fouled so often because he doesn't see the big picture quickly enough, and that's a terrific point. It is shocking. I think it's apparent that he doesn't really care about playing for Scotland, which is another reason why the criticism of McBurnie is so unfair... As McBurnie does care, even if he's been caught of camera saying some stupid things.
  10. If you're serious about that: One tsp of Bicarbonate of Soda in a glass of water is more effective than any heartburn/acid reflux medication. Plus you save a lot of money.
  11. This is a good page, comparing Fraser to the Arsenal midfielders, as apparently, Arsenal were looking at him. https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/comparing-ryan-frasers-2018-19-stats-to-arsenals-current-midfielders/ There's usually a reason when teams buy players, and why they don't. Fraser is not top 6 EPL level. In Fraser's most productive season he had an average of 0.6 dribbles per match. That isn't a lot. So, if he can beat players with ease, why doesn't he? Stats show that he doesn't. He's good at quick give and goes, but no way is he an old fashioned winger. He doesn't run at people. I'm not sure where this "Fraser beats players with ease" theory comes from. I've never seen it. I'd say that Forrest runs at players more often.
  12. Celtic are in the mix for Fraser. Apparently, he's dragging his heels on the Newcastle deal because he's holding out for a bigger club. I've seen a lot of Fraser over the years. He really isn't that good. He's can't beat people, his dribbling is appalling and people think he's fast because he has little legs, they move like the clappers, this is why people think he's fast. He had a great season a couple of seasons ago, but i'd attribute that as much to Calum Wilson as much as I would Fraser. Newcastle have Allan Saint-Maxim. Saint-Maxim will be with a really top club in a season or two. If Fraser thinks he's too good to rub shoulders with Saint-Maxim, I'm afraid he's either crazy or he thinks he's far better than what he is.
  13. Hell, even I'm worried that Ronnie will reach 7! It's immaterial, though. Hendry IS the best. It took Hendry 9 seasons to achieve what Sullivan hasn't been able to achieve in 19 years. People say that the playing pool is stronger than what it was during the 90s. Well, apparently Ronnie doesn't think so: "I would have to lose an arm and a leg to drop out of the top 40".
  14. Exactly. Players who show their love they support? Fair enough. However, I can't understand players that don't share the same love for their country. I'm guessing his father wasn't much of a patriot, either, otherwise Tierney snr would've dragged his son to Hampden to support Scotland. Yeah. That article didn't really cut any ice with me. Him, along with Fraser, are the players who I think are the least committed. McBurnie, I think is one of the most committed. I never remembered him ever pulling out of an under 21 squad. And I remember an article he did a while back, and he said that him Dad followed him playing everywhere, when he played with the under 21s and he loved making his Dad proud. I think some people need to lay off a wee bit. Doesn't help when the Daily Record are stirring the pot.
  15. Bump. This and his tweet, I'm more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. It's strange that McBurnie is taking pelters for pulling out, whilst, just a few days ago Kieran Tierney admitted that he has never attended a Scotland match, as a fan. The former took the time to explain the reason he pulled out. Which says to me that he cares. I don't remember Tierney or Fraser making the same gesture, after the numerous times they pulled out. Talking of social media, Tierney never mentions Scotland. It's time that people here stopped with the which hunt and stopped making a fuss over, what is essentially, not important. (Covid-19, anyone?)
  16. Didn't see that one coming. Good luck to the greatest of all time.
  17. Correct. I would. Why do we always have to put road blocks on things and never think outside the box? Javier Mascherano played for the full Argentina team, two week later he made his debut with River Plate. Alex Iwobi made his debut for Nigeria before he played for Arsenal. Liverpool's Harry Wilson played for Wales in 2013, he made his first league appearance on loan to Crew in 2015. I'd actually look at lads like Kai Naismith, McPake, King, Morrison, Hickey, Barry Hepburn, Reagan Thomson, Mochrie, Hanratty, etc. Having watched the u17s and u19s over the past 12 months. The lads in those groups are light years ahead of the current crop of seniors, in terms of technical ability and football intelligence. This crop of senior players, apart from three or four, are quite frankly, embarrassing.
  18. Scotland 0 - 1 Israel Czech Republic 4 - 0 Scotland
  19. Apparently, Bayern Munich have pulled out of a move for Aaron Hickey, leading Bologna to snap him up. (Hope it isn't true) Daniel Church is training with Dundee, with a view of a free transfer from Celtic. (That really surprises me. I've seen Churck for the u19s and he looks superb! What is it with releasing good Scottish left backs? First Robertson, then Hickey and now possibly Church)
  20. Some good points and well said. I still think we'll lose up both matches, though. 😛 Hopefully I get proven wrong.
  21. I hope Oliver McBurnie has a great season next season. I hope he bangs in the goals of Sheffield United and I hope that he grows up and matures, both as a footballer and as a human being. Then, and only then, will he be ready to lead the line of Scotland. Let's stop the pitchforks and torches routine. It's not like we're losing Ronaldo. Besides, in my opinion, these matches are glorified friendlies. I expect two losses, whether or not we have a fully fit McBurnie.
  22. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12017/12061353/steve-clarke-happy-with-oli-mcburnie-sheffield-united-appearance-after-scotland-call-off Exactly what I said. The lad isn't fit. If people want an unfit player on the bench, fair enough, but I don't. Doesn't take much for people to ger angry around here. I think there's an element of the reincarnates from Salem in this place.
  23. 2 sets down, facing 1 match point. Andy, what a man.
  24. You're quite right, there's nothing wrong with a quick "Told you so". He deserves the benefit of the doubt, as well as McBurnie, a player who always turned up for the under 21's.
  25. I'm not McBurnie's biggest fan, but if he's only on the Bench for Sheffiend United then he's not 100% fit. I don't want a player who isn't fully fit and match fit in the squad.
