  1. You have to play with the hand you are dealt. Souness, Dalglish, Jordan won feck all either for Scotland. Heartbreak hotel with the odd win. But certainly I trust Clarke in setting up a team formation. Even if we get beat I would still keep him for at least he decides to pack in. And get Strachan back to help. Should have kept with him IMO. But things are what they are. Both guys are football and Scotland men through and through. Positivity 👍
  2. Get it correct kid. I suggested that calling a person a cheating wee jobbie is the stuff of an infantile. Or Billy Connelly. Stand on.
  3. Correct ma best TAMB pal. Apart from yon Big Tim from Canada!
  4. Just be nice and kind in life. Rewards will follow. Scotland and Jura Forever. Looking forward to BGT final tonight with new chick.
  5. A cheating wee jobbie? Undeniable? Are you Billy Connelly? See, if you had ever gone to university which is unlikely unless you were painting the doors? Try and have a debate without insults. Kid. 👍
  6. Kris Boyd supports this thread. Great article once again. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/6143396/scotland-steve-clarke-euros-kris-boyd/
  7. Have you got a whippet and a couple of cans of Kestrel to make you an expert in the game? 👍
  8. Ok kid. Sport is not required to be entertaining in your opinion. We will leave it at that.
  9. Just that MOM and football is subjective. Could well have been from the other team. My point is that football is entertainment though. As should sport always be. Otherwise what is the point?
  10. Rangers won 4-0 in Europe and MOM was Allan Mcgregor.
  11. We will agree to disagree. Football is entertainment to me as I love it. Yes, we all want to win as it is a sport as well. I watched Rangers go through in Europe last week and the goals were highly entertaining and a joy to watch. It was better than watching Scooby Doo! It seems to me you watch football with the broose down. I like to watch it with them up. Dont be miserable when you watch a game. Be happy. That's all folks 🐕
  12. I tried it once when I was Junior. Went to an amateur game and ref never turned up so they asked me. Never again. The abuse is something awful and still is at all levels. Talk about eyes in the back of your head. So I take my hat of to refs.
  13. Sorry, not Gaddafi, Mulgrahie. Stand on. I feel a warning coming on! Naw, good banter boys.
  14. Aye I think that was it mate. But Mr Gaddafi was right. But it is always down to the refs decision.
  15. Griffiths and Dykes for me.
  16. You are correct. But refs have a law unto thereselves!!
  17. Depended on the ref mate. Seen it happen loads of times. How long is an attack over? I know what you are saying but I have seen games where the ref has blown the whistle when the corner kick is flying over to the 6 yard box. How long have you been watching football? 👍
  18. I would get Strachan back as well as Steve Clarke. A positive and a negative! We should be using the talents that we have to move forward. In fact, get Souness as well.
  19. And hence is our problem. Football is a sport and supposed to be entertainment. Setting up a team that is 'hard to beat' is the mentality that has got us where we are. You obviously agree with that as did every other manager since Roxburgh. When I first saw Scotland it was Get in to them. Might not have won every game but gave it a go. I coach my boys and never ever would say that we cant win so we need to sit back and hope we get a breakaway. Pish attitude.
  20. Aye, I know mate. I love Steve Clarke but wouldn't like to be married to him. Give me Strachan any day!!
  21. True. Just watched again. But such a dour personality before games. Dont get me wrong, I like him and want him to be manager for next 10 years. But he needs to cheer up before a game.
  22. Why doesn't he crack a smile? My ex wife smiled more than him. He looks like a horse in the huff when he interviewed.
