  1. Calm doon Claude. Take your heid oot your arse and try to enjoy yet another victory before drawing breath and crying doom. It’s not always shite being Scottish. Althoug im sure you’d prefer that it was. Ps we won because Strachan brought on Martin. Desipte your shite patter.
  2. For the record I would have brought on Martin and was calling out for Anya. I told the folk booing martin vs Slovenia to kill themselves. I don’t regret it. 13/15 pts now. Who’s next. This time.
  3. Everybody seems dead against moyes. But i’d have him. Players line up to say he’s the best coach they have ever worked under.
  4. I think we’ve established from the suggestions....No.
  5. Just move the games back to Sat. Or at least Thu-Sat as a compromise.
  6. And no way I committ to spending the whole of June attending qualifiers. So I’d go from a supporter to a tv consumer. Pish.
  7. Sounds like a perfect format for sky and English tv consumers. Written by somebody obsessed with the EPL, who sees international break as a distraction. Did paddy power publish this? Not saying we can’t make it better, but I look forward to every international break. So disagree with the basis of everything that is said to be honest.
  8. First they came for Ranieri and I did not speak out...
  9. Stay. Agree with everything in first post. I think he has learned a lot this campaign and don’t want to start from scratch. We’re not far off the pace. Humping ion Thursday though and I’m probably calling for his head. Football fans are fickle you see.
  10. No Scott brown doesn’t. He retains possession unbelievably well. It just so happens when he makes one bad pass a bunch of complete d-heads in the home support boo him, so it sticks in your mind. Somebody did some analysis a wee while back on here that demonstrated he was one of the top midfielders in Europe re retaining possession. The analysis also demonstrates that it translates into his scotland performance, where his pass completion rate and ball retention consistently places him as one of the top performers on the park. From a subjective point of view I also think he has a much stronger presence on the park vs Fletcher. We also win more when he is on the park vs fletcher. So I dont think you have a valid point.
  11. Ok all sensible. Who do you bring in to successfully play the 2x defensive role? Fletcher and Mcarthur give me the fear.
  12. Crazy. Both those players are liable to cost you the game. That’s before we even start thinking about how the 11 players on the park help us win the game. Fletcher will hold nothing and mcarthur has been putting our centre halves under pressure. McGinn.
  13. Mcarthur has been doing his best lately to put our centre halfs under pressure! And despite his experience (and popular narrative) Fletcher inevitably conceres possession under pressure. So not sure who strengthens this midfield? We need to learn from our mistakes of the past, where we set up not to lose games. And instead set up to try to win the game. Leaving strong attacking players out when we need to win the game, would be a mistake. And the players you bring in to supposedly strengthen your defensive capabilities will probably end up costing you the game (because they are still pretty poor defensive players). Play to our strengths. Particularly when we don’t have any attractive options that protect our weaknesses.
  14. Actually. I like this set up better than mine. A potentially strong and dynamic midfield right there. It’s asking too much of fletcher to step back up and Mcarthur has been making too many scary mistakes. The more I think about it, if I hear McGinn in the starting line- up on the day if then it’ll give me a lot of confidence.
  15. Not MacArthur. Forrest fletcher mcgregor Morrison Phillips I don't really want fletcher on there, but there you go. I could be convinced to give Snodgrass another throw of the dice. Despite the fact he's let me down time and time again. Maybe this time...
  16. I'm going to punch a horse. This is a joke.
  17. Ritchie has been absolute dynamite. Another massive loss if confirmed.
  18. Why can't we catch a break for f sake. UtterjxhdfehdbSvsfndhdb Get fletcher in and pray he plays the game of his life. F sake. Indint know what to do about Armstrong. Worst. Hangover. Ever.
  19. No they won't. If we miss out on 2nd on goal difference then whoever is second will not get a playoff spot. So it's irrelevant. We controlled the game and won comfortably after an excellent performance in lithunia (a game that historically would have been a nervy affair). Let's take all the positives forward and try to win the next two. If we do, we'll very likely have a playoff spot.
  20. I will criticise fellow fans when they are in the wrong. Like ive made clear, I think the pricing structure for the national team is fine. It's lower than last campaign, reflects supporter feedback and is in line (or below) pricing of similar things in the market. Attendances are terrible, but like I said it's got nothing to do with the pricing of the Malta game.
  21. There were also season tickets on sale for £125. The fact div chose the more expensive ticket and then makes a complaint about the fact is attention seeking and stupid. I think the north stand should be charged £75 per game and the rest of us can pay a tenner. North stand punters will be happy, because it gives them something to moan about on twitter and everywhere else. And everybody else will be happy too. Also England looked sold out to me...or close enough. So I do t think there's a valid argument point there either.
  22. I think there is a world of difference between having a private conversation in a pub vs making public statements on twitter that are false and misleading.
  23. As others have said. Pricing is fine. Even if it was free last night we wouldn't have got remotely close to a full house.
