Croatia look very much like a team who think they will beat us and the Czechs comfortably and will go through in second place with 6 points. They really don’t look interested in winning this game.

According to Clarke the players won’t even know who is starting until tomorrow so any potential leak must have come from Clarke himself or one of his coaching team. If O’Donnell and Marshall start tomorrow then we’ll know that it was just a rumour. If Gordon, Gilmour and Patterson start then I’ll begin to suspect that Debian might actually be Steve Clarke. 😂

It’s not a rumour anymore. The team has been announced and Trippier and Sterling do start. I have no idea which formation they will use though.

Exactly. We won’t actually know if today’s result suits us or not until the rest of the group pans out. The players and Steve Clarke will not be worrying about what happens today. They just need to concentrate on tomorrow’s game and what happens in the other games will take care of itself. The one thing I would agree on is a convincing England win would give them a huge boost. I don’t think their confidence is at its highest at the moment and we could do with keeping it that way ahead of Friday.

I didn’t say I couldn’t manage it. It would be incredibly boring and having a pint or 2 would help with that. People are pretty much expected to sit in their seat (apart from going to the toilet or buying a Euro 2020 mug for £15 or whatever) from the minute they enter Hampden until full time. If you would rather that than being able to get some refreshments then that’s up to you.

I would take first place right now if it was offered. Would mean we could go to the last 16 match without traveling abroad. If that means playing a big team then so be it. England would probably happily finish top of the group as they would be at Wembley for their last 16 match. I don’t tend to check peoples posting history to decide if I believe a rumour that has been posted without a link or at least a source. Not that I’m suggesting you are lying but I’ll take it with a pinch of salt until the team is announced tomorrow.

As far as I’m aware nobody has just dropped like that due to being vaccinated and we don’t even know if he has been. Undetected health conditions are probably far more common than we’d like to believe. Anyway, I’m sure a cause will be announced at some point.

Seems odd. My phone doesn’t do that whether I have Bluetooth turned on or not. I wouldn’t worry about it though. You should be able to switch your Bluetooth on when you get tit he stadium. The stewards will help you out if there is an issue.
