Just finished 0-0. Wales still topping that group, impressive start!

Looking at the same 3 campaigns, an average of 13 points was needed to secure 3rd place in the groups, with the teams finishing 4th picking up totals ranging from 9 to 16 points. Just to give an idea of what total could be needed for the play-off lifeline...

Looking at all the 6 team groups from the last 3 campaigns only once out of 22 groups has a team needed 21 points to finish second (Ukraine for WC2010). The average points total for 3rd place was 15.8 In other words we'd be very unlucky to need that many points for 2nd....

The majority of them probably don't go to Scotland home games either. This fixture was always going to attract the knuckle draggers unfortunately.

Really? England are playing pretty well right now. There's been times in the past when we've had a much better team than them but not at the moment. Appreciate the SSC website's not been the most reliable for explaining ticket availability but there's less than 1000 seats left for sale...

They've still to go to Ireland, Scotland and Germany. Plus we're currently ahead of them on head to head. Appreciate they look impressive going forward but I think it's a bit early to say they'll storm the group...

Irish lass next to us was wearing no colours. You can spot the probable Irish fans from the lack of celebration at the goal. I would estimate there were around 20 or 30 Irish fans wearing colours in our section. Extrapolate that around the stadium and you're looking at another couple of thousand... -
The guys behind us were booing McClean over the whole poppy carry on, and were pretty vocal about it...
