I don't think they played any better on Friday than any of the other times I've seen them in the group. Sheer misfortune stopped them comfortably beating Poland and Ireland first time round, on the other hand they rode their luck a bit v Poland on Friday...

Goal difference doesnae count. We've beaten Ireland on head to head so only need to finish level with them. That's why even a point on Friday would've been massive...

Assuming the Irish win tonight, the simple equation is we need to take more points from the final games against Germany and Poland than Ireland do.

Nice gesture but pretty futile. The vast majority of EPL TV money comes from abroad, the far east in particular. Not sure what circumstances would dictate a huge drop in those contributions?...

Neither there I'm afraid. Goes back to my previous post, saw the A10 doing an incredible display at Prestwick back in the 80s. Must have been absolutely terrifying being on the ground with one of of those beasts stalking you...
