  1. You can change your flight to Eindhoven for the direct flight to Budapest from Edinburgh with Ryanair free of charge. Just give them a call.
  2. Emailed Albanian FA regards the venue, they suggested booking hotels with free cancellation in Tirana or Elbasan. I've emailed again asking if any possibility of the game being played in Shkoder.
  3. 5 of our group booked up Tue -Fri for Israel. Glasgow - Bucharest - Tel Aviv with Blue Air Tel Aviv - Geneva - Edinburgh with EasyJet £190 each return.
  4. Spent four days in Zadar and then spent a few days on Mali Losinj and Rab. Fantastic small city, lots of bars, restaurants in the old town and easy to visit nearby islands too.
  5. £40 for both, will post 1st class.
  6. Seats still available on bus to Malta game. Bus leaves St.Madoes at 1630 with pick ups in Perth.
  7. Thats our group all sorted! 9 SSC and 22 home end tickets. Thanks to everyone who sold us their spares.
  8. Only needing 4 tickets if anyone has spares.
  9. Struggling to make the payment for some reason on the official ticket site. Still looking for at least 10 tickets if anyone has spares to sell.
  10. Still looking for 15 home end tickets for some our group if anyone has spares to sell.
  11. There's 29 in our group so don't leave without us!
  12. Just noticed that Ryanair have changed the flight time from Luton to Kaunas from 1000 to 0855 on 31st August. Our flight from Edinburgh arrives into Luton at 0745 which will mean a quick turn around Hopefully no delays! Anyone else on these flights?
  13. Think Kaunas getting unfair stick, stayed there for previous two games v Lithuania. We had a great time on both trips and looking forward to returning again.
  14. Aye, some have even missed the plane on the way there
  15. Lets be honest, most of us gave up following Scotland for football reasons years ago. 29 of us booked up Edi/Luton/Kaunas on 31/8 and Vilnius to Liverpool on 2/9 for £150.
  16. Atmosphere generated by Scotland fans at Home/Away games has been poor for a few years. Hopefully we can raise our game at Wembley next month both on the pitch and stands. The match day atmosphere at home has deteriorated over the last 4 yrs and although it's refreshing to try new ideas it hasn't worked. Dedicated singing sections have worked at club level so it may be worth giving this a go. Appreciate that some fans find this hard to accept but noise level at the Lithuania game was poor.
  17. 20 of us booked last night 31/8 Luton 10am - Kaunas 2/9 Vilnius 1640 - Liverpool £108 for both flights.
  18. I've 2 spare Maltese FA tickets for the Scotland section priced at 25 Euros each. Please DM.
  19. Did the SSC attempt to secure more tickets? If they did and were unsuccessful they should inform their members of this. We'll have to agree to differ but I feel they could have negotiated a larger allocation.
  20. Made what up ? Stadium will not be full. Members on 0/1 points don't want official tickets? You've lost me! 6 of our group on 0 or 1 point have purchased 25 Euro tickets.
  21. As a member of the Travel Club/SSC for around 30 yrs I'm fully aware and supportive of the system in place for purchasing away tickets. However, on this occasion it is clear that that the SSC could have secured more tickets to meet the demand of members of the SSC who are on 0/1 points.
  22. Bought 6 for our group who were unable to buy SSC tickets. Still think it's disgraceful that some fans are paying £50 for a membership and having to buy unofficial Scotland end tickets at twice the price. Think on this occasion the SSC could have done better.
  23. Last summer we flew into Split, stayed 2 nights before getting the ferry over to Hvar for 3 nights. Ferry to Korkula for 2 nights and then another ferry to Dubrovnik. After two nights in Dubrovnik we hired a car and drove to Kotor in Montenegro for 3 nights then into Bosnia visiting Mostar for 2 nights before returning to Split. One of the best holidays I've been on. Both Split and Dubrovnik have beautiful compact centres crammed with bars/restaurants. The islands were short ferry journeys from Split/Dubrovnik and well worth visiting. Kotor is a fantastic walled town situated at the end of a fjord. It's very busy during the day with tourists but much better in the evenings. I preferred Kotor to Budva which I felt was slightly tacky. Finally Mostar in Bosnia is not too far from Dubrovnik and worth going to see the bridge and the divers!
