  1. When I named my first son he was only one of four that year. Now it's quite popular (Brody). Didn't realise that Harris was so popular when we named our second this year.
  2. Watt could have been an O'Connor or Riordan. Bad attitude etc but with bags of ability. Finally we have a Scottish footballer who appears to be back from the brink of obscurity, so well done him.
  3. Excellent musician, great songwriter, good voice. One of my unashamed pleasures in life, as good as Paul Simon. Life wouldn't be complete without eithers music.
  4. I need a translation for "I did it my way" in Gaelic. Any help would be much appreciated.
  5. Liked it. Hopefully you don't go the "preaching to the converted" route most of those pages are. Deleted a few because they're cyclical. Post link. Most agree. Troll. Counter Troll. Name calling. Over and over again. No debate. They just attract polarised views. What we need is a page where people can debate it freely which is moderated and has people on both sides respecting each other. I have no doubt yes would win on those pages. That'd get my "like."
  6. The Voices. Ryan Reynolds comedy. Watched it 24 hours ago and still debating whether I enjoyed it due to the subject and how f***ed up it was. Crap but more than passable by Hollywood standards Scottish accent as well.
  7. Newsroom. Gamorra. Corleone. Falling Skies. Turn. Book of Negroes. My watch list since new year. Edit - Spiral and Lilyhammer are both excellent too.
  8. I've never done it before, never researched it before posting it here. Think registering as part of "team yorkhill" guarantees them a bit more, I also never knew it was for childrens charities only. So with this in mind I'm actually withdrawing my own recommendation, not only on here but on FB etc. I'm sure other families out there will feel similar about CHAS etc so I quite like the idea of them all getting an equal share.
  9. Right, I know I've got a somewhat chequered history with this board. So I'll not ask you to sponsor me. However If you are doing the Kiltwalk can I suggest you join "Team Yorkhill"? For the last ten weeks we've been to hell and back, several times and thankfully things are looking up, all thanks to the skill and dedication of the staff at Yorkhill. For more info - look here -> http://www.yorkhill.org/events/glasgow-kiltwalk-2015
  10. Just noticed the advertising boardings go to "peachy" just as the ball hits the net.
  11. I think people need to look at the element of Scots that were at the game that were not supporting Scotland. We had a groud of Irish to our right. They were sound. They shouted Aiden McGeady - we would do an add on. They seen it as banter and it was handshakes all round. Speaking after the game the only thing they were bothered about was their chance for revenge in the return ficture (results wise). The two "Scots" boys beside us though, they were a different matter and left just after the goal. They obviously had an "affinity" with Ireland. There were also a few bampots supporting Scotland that seen it as a bigger rivarly than our southern neighbours. For every "Irish Scot" there was a reciprocal "Union" Scot. Scots hating Scots. It's why this country is f-cked.
  12. My memory for posters is evidently not as good as I think. I must have you mistaken for someone else. I'm not just saying that either to escape from the argument. I've switched devices and seen your joined date is after that incident. Humble pie being eaten. No matter, not like I make a habit of making a of myself on the tinterweb.
  13. I can't forget the shame I felt as a jambo after that day. I also can't forget about the vitriol directed towards the support at large due to it. As for forgiveness? I never felt the need to forgive anyone due to me personally not booing. It didn't bother me and in truth I didn't care about the booing. I did care about the reaction. That's why I didn't ask him to condemn it. I just found it funny it was a different reaction and made a point to try and get him to see that the situation was comparable to a previous situation he had condemned. That was the point. I don't see how or why you could have took umbrage at that. As for time, it's definitely moved forward. Hope we can at least agree on that although from reading your posts you'll want to argue that time is arbitrary and a human construct etc. A bit like your division by zero. I do remember snippets from everyone's posts. I think everyone does. Maybe that's why I got over zealous in my replies to ek celt. knows. Maybe your just as y as me and want to argue based on what you seen was hypocrisy. Goodnight. Enjoy the game tomorrow and I hope you one day managed to find a calculator that one day says 30/0 = 30
  14. I've pointed out perceived hypocrisy. Nothing more. I'm not "indignant" over anything. I just thought it was funny considering I'm more of a reader of this board since "that" happened, and he's not someone who usually sweeps the ills of his club under the carpet. I'll repeat what I said in an earlier post; "That's why I wrote my post, not to play the man. The ball is showing that stupidity is stupidity no matter which side you're on." Booing any minutes silence is stupidity. In both cases I referred to it was probably small minded bigots, that's not an accusation I levelled at EK Celt - that would be playing the man and going from his posts something that isn't true. I did however find it funny that this time it was more about the result than what had happened previously. FWIW I don't think it'll change but idiocy like that needs to be challenged, not ignored because of the result or which team it is from. As for unforgiving? I think 8 years is enough of a sentence? Nah?
  15. Man is played. Did you not once see an eagle? What's that got to do with this thread?
  16. The situations are comparable and your posts at the time directly contradict your earlier posts in this thread.
  17. Why is it important he does? What do you gain from him doing so?
  18. No, however you go back to the aftermath of that ill-fated day and Jambos were scum etc. Much ire directed at us etc. Despite it being a MINORITY back then as well. We were vilified and IIRC you were full on in your condemnation without being a "total mope." Which contrasts slightly to this incident. Back then you won the game, but this was a big incident. Contrasts slightly to your view this time that (and I paraphrase) "it doesn't really matter, as long as we win" "Bigotry should have been eradicated back then, SFA should deduct points, Police should get involved because it was bang out of order." That's just some of the stuff I remember coming from sections of this board, which to be fair wasn't exclusively Celtic fans, and to take it a wee step further - most Hearts fans would have accepted! That's why I wrote my post, not to play the man. The ball is showing that stupidity is stupidity no matter which side you're on. I don't want you to condemn them, you writing a few words on the internet to appease other TAMB users isn't going to change anything. In short I found it a tad hypocritical. Especially when you then went on to state (again paraphrasing) "But it's cool, cos the ones that get upset at it are showing as much disrespect as the ones that are booing" - were you and your ilk being disrespectful when you got upset back then? Nah, you weren't and you insult peoples intelligence by saying it this time around.
  19. Where did I say that? For ease of understanding and to help you in your quest I'll post what I typed again; Next time the pope dies I'm booing. Just for the shits and giggles. But it's cool, cos the ones that get upset at it are showing more disrespect than the ones that are booing (EK Celt philosophy). And it doesn't really matter, as long as we win (EK Celt Philosphy). As an aside, I don't actually care but love the hypocrisy when comparing this to a certain incident (Booers in both incidents are bigoted reprobates in my opinion).
