  1. £41k starting salary rising to £67.5k after 4 years.
  2. I honestly have no interest in discussing a 2 year old issue, which i have already discussed to death, all over again.
  3. Hold your horses. I said Evra was a liar in regards to being called "nigger", i said this because he later changed out of his story. That in itself is an admission that he was wrong/lying when he spoke to French TV. Wouldn't you agree? He discredited himself by his actions. Unfortunately most of the MSM failed to tell the public the full story. After reading all the evidence (which i don't think anyone else on the TAMB bothered to do), I believe Evra's evidence to be no more credible than Suarez's. Both of them changed their story. One of them was however given a chance to examine evidence in advance of speaking in front of the panel, so it's little surprise Evra's story was more convincing. Only Suarez will know whether any racial abuse of Evra was intended but, IMO, the "conviction" was very dodgy. Again, this has absolutely feck all to do with Logan/Tonev and is in no way related. Although your attempts to confuse the issue by conflating them are something that i'm sure even master deflector EK would be proud of. I'm glad we can agree on your final 2 sentences.
  4. Always the victim, indeed. I'm not taking any moral high ground. My stance with Evra was also well-founded and in no way relates to what happened here. Unless Shay Logan claimed on TV that he was called "nigger" between "10 and 20 times", like Evra did. Which i don't think he did. Maybe we should stick to the issues here, rather than trying to confuse them with things that are in no way related.
  5. Everyone who's read the thread can see the attempts by you and Kenneth Farrington to smear Logan's character in attempt to stick up for a Celtic player who's been found guilty of racist abuse. If you're comfortable with that, then it says a hell of a lot about you.
  6. Booked last night. Fly return Manchester-Dublin (Fri-Sunday) for £81/each. Wee drive down to Manchester on the Friday morning (or maybe Thursday afternoon and have a night out in Manchester). Was another £110/each to fly from Glasgow or Edinburgh.
  7. Indeed. Anyone who watched him play on Sunday and thinks he should be in the Scotland team is nuts.
  8. The ball is that you, as a Celtic fan, seem unable to condemn scumbag actions from Celtic fans and players. You've also attempted to smear the victim of racist abuse
  9. His current manager inherited a shambles, Moyes inherited the best team in the EPL. The current manager is also a proven winner, so will undoubtedly be allowed additional leeway. Moyes made many, many mistakes. Chasing Fabregas for 2 months being possibly the most hilarious of them all. He was never, ever going to go to Man Utd, yet they spent 2 months trying to sign him. When, as you say, they could've put their efforts in to renewing an aging defence. Moyes is an average manager, Everton and Real Sociedad are about his level. He'll never win anything of note. He's a shitebag manager who sets teams up to not lose. That he ever got the Man Utd job is utterly baffling.
  10. I suspect he'll get Sociedad to mid-table by playing terribly dull football. He'll leave "by mutual consent" at the end of the season. One of the things i'd be concerned about if i were a Sociedad fan, is that Moyes still doesn't see why it went so badly wrong at Man Utd. He's reverted to attempting to paint himself as a victim of an unjust sacking, when in reality he took the EPL champions to mid-table.
  11. That's your "basics"? It's fair to say, we have grossly different diets
  12. Eh? Hayes got booked for being pushed by Izaguirre. It was ultimate bottle-job refereeing. Pathetic.
  13. I would've been even more annoyed at the red than Logan was, so I find it hard to have a pop at him. Incompetence cost Aberdeen yesterday. Both from the officials and our defending. Our players will learn from it, unfortunately it'll be more of the same from the officials next match.
  14. Yeah. When we were over for our game vs NI in the Nations Cup all the Irish press were reporting that McCarthy was set to switch to Scotland. Roberto Martinez commented on it too.
  15. What abuse did Lewis McLeod get? Folk said it was a joke he was called up. I don't recall seeing anyone abusing him. Try sticking to the facts, rather than your own warped version of reality. Paterson shouldn't be called up, just as McLeod shouldn't.
  16. He didn't say they couldn't comment. He said they were wrong to say the "know" that Tonev didn't say what he's been accused of, as they couldn't possibly know. And he's 100% correct. Although I appreciate rationality doesn't come into it with celtic fans.
  17. Woohoo. Now we can have a competition on who's the best at respecting the war dead.
