I don't know the truth of this - but I would be very wary of any graphic you see of Ally declaring his support for Yes.
Just try to search for the source of what he says and see what you can come up with.
There is a school of thought that people like to be associated with winners.
That people who have been unsure and have been reluctant to vote Yes because it would be a losing vote, would see the polls and decide that it might be a winner after all and vote to be part of the winning side.
Things are going pretty much in line with what Yes strategists have been working to for the past two years.
The bookies know football and racing and sports inside out. What's their track records on Scottish Independence Referendums?
They'll be making their judgements based on (amongst other things) the published polls and where the money is being placed.
But there are many of us who believe that the polls are not reflecting what is actually happening in Scotland.
I will be absolutely gobsmacked if the No vote is anywhere near the percentage that the polls are predicting.
