  1. It's what he's trading on mostly. His mask might slip here on immigration.
  2. That's the Ukip manifesto on immigration. They shout "badger off" and shut the door in the potential immigrant's face.
  3. You're welcome. Just feel dirty even typing the feckers name. ?
  4. Farage is going to come out of this well. He's talking utter racist mince but he's using a more "user friendly " language. That's how he maintains the "bloke down the pub" persona. He's avoiding using politically technical terms and not floating out obvious BS.
  5. It is only one of many things I'm concerned about. I've said quite a few times on here that I'm not a fan of King. I don't trust him but he is in now and we have to work with what we've got just now.
  6. He did say that and according to the report on the BBC he did have one. They had a due diligence process to complete (since they appear to be professional and above board) but something has come out meaning they didn't want to proceed. Apparently the next thing is to look at listing the shares on a different exchange, where Arsenal shares are apparently listed.
  7. Isn't 1m and the name on the shirts a better deal?Admittedly I should have been clearer in my post. It is a good deal but the thanks should go to the person donating unless of course it actually should cost more than 500k to sponsor the tops for a season. Then Hearts would be actually giving a donation in kind. If that's the going rate then it's not that great a deal, is it?
  8. Oh dear. Did I call you a name you didn't like? You should try being a Rangers supporter on here during the last 4 years. I'll add sensitive soul to your epithet list then. ?
  9. Again, stating the obvious, I'm no expert in this area, so could the lack of an accountant be part of the reason for the lack of clarity? Deloitte (I think) resigned 6 months ago and nobody informed the new board. Were the new board even involved in the creation of these accounts? I don't know how long the process is for creating a set of accounts.
  10. Isn't that the type of accounting if reported at Rangers would have the hand wringers out in full force? In my humble opinion 25% of the sales going on fees is ridiculous but then again I'm a tight fisted b@stard. ?
  11. Did say happy to be corrected but what I'm seeing is 500k to Hearts and 500k to Save the Children. I've no idea what the going rate for Hearts shirt sponsors is, so maybe it is a good deal for the Charity. Anyone know the figures from the Wonga deal?
  12. Petty child aren't you? ?You should do a bit of reading. Paul Murrays interview recently posted on the Rangers YouTube channel has a fair bit of info on this for you. Obviously you'll just shout liar, liar but at least I'll have tried. The lack of Nomad is interesting as I don't pretend to understand the implications, unlike some on here. Not sure how bad this will be as we're unlikely to get loaned money by reputable sources thanks to the recent financial history.
  13. Rangers case is slightly different as Ashley's shareholding didn't exceed the limit set. The appointments to the Board were the issue, so who knows what the SFA will do with this.
  14. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but Hearts are getting paid for this, so not really kudos for them. More well done the philanthropic individuals who are paying for it.If Hearts weren't getting paid then they'd deserve a serious pat on the back.
  15. He's talking about you Parky. No investment can be carried out quickly due to needing approval from shareholders etc. There are laws and timescales around this. The most recent loan was required now to avoid needing any cash from Ashley and is interest free. This has been explained on here several times but you keep ignoring this to try and point score. Please reread your comment and apply to yourself.
  16. Does he have business interests in South Africa then? Did he make his money during Apartheid? Are you sure he's fit to be a director? All of these questions need answers, or at least made up to sound sensible. I
  17. No need for the kangaroo court, I'll plead guilty and save time. ?A few others on here could try being as honest! I'll put my fishing gear away for now, m'lud.
  18. So is Mr Thompson a glib and shameless liar? Just wondering.. ... ?
  19. Isn't he that already? According to a South African judge and a variety of TAMB posters? Isn't the latter all that counts? In the interests of fairness I've met a few very successful self made businessmen and they all come across as glib, 2 faced back stabbing bast@rds.
  20. I didn't say he should make a loss. Newcastle could have spent another 15m this season and made a profit. They may also have done better in the league etc.I also don't hate him. I don't know him. You really need to stop making stuff up. I have severe doubts about his intention for Rangers. I can't see him investing much and with the previous board in place the money he did provide was pissed against the wall, as far as Rangers are concerned. He loaned us money so that we could pay him it back for non-existent players FFS! Even you can work out that's a neat con trick.
  21. Why would they not want a Europa League spot? That's the next step if the club is to progress, surely?I think the non-Rangers fans on here are blinkered in their praise of Ashley. He does bring a certain stability but no ambition and no interest in the football quality. He also tells the fans nothing which is only slightly better than constant BS in my opinion. Not someone I'd trust in the long term if things went wrong on the pitch.
  22. Hasn't played as well this season but I think he was injured earlier in the year so could still be struggling for fitness.
