I agree hes a good player but nowhere near great.Hopefully with him and the Kiernan we can have a decent centre back partnership with youth on its side, instead of past it relics that move like glaciers. Pace was utterly lacking in the squad last season so hopefully it gets addressed as a priority with the new signings.

I essentially agree with you but playing devil's advocate, why does it lack ambition? What do you know about Luton, their plans and potential etc. Maybe they have really big plans coming to fruition soon, or maybe the boy wants to play down south as he sees it as a quicker stepping stone to the Championship. I'm interested in why we think it's a negative step. Maybe the SPFL is seen as a League of Ireland equivalent in England.

That's kind of my point. Was he playing last season? He maybe sees a possibility here and can also earn some cash.At least we have a manager that is being linked with younger players this time.
