  1. I watched the extended highlights against St Johnstone on Alba (great show, 2 fifty minute highlights per weekend), anyway Souttar looked good but not involved enough. O'Halloran was impressive.
  2. The last one would have been great with the proper badge. The new ones are "an Australian's nightmare".
  3. Great pace, power and skill by O'Halloran to set up St Johnstone's winner.
  4. I don't think we lacked spirit, although Georgia was very weird.
  5. It suits our abundant wee, quite skilful, players. If we get racehorses and battering rams then we could change, but it's all about personnel.
  6. I think he's still an asset, but he's very much a form player. Economy of movement is not really in his locker so he may struggle with age. I'm hopeful McGinn and Macleod will be our '2' in the 4-2-3-1 formation, but maybe not in the next campaign. Souttar may also be in with a shout but he's still very much potential at this stage.
  7. some grumblings that he upset the manager in an interview and now out the picture.
  8. Deila singing the praises of Nesbitt in the papers. Whatever happened to Calvin Miller?
  9. Why do I think he's like Kevin Gallacher?
  10. Is he one now? Haven't really seen any Killie games.
  11. Great result. Seemingly we were all over Slovenia and got hit with a sucker punch. I think some of this group has the potential to make the step up. I hope we don't have to wait 5 years.
  12. From my experience, stereotypes aside, the Irish are healthier, more confident, better educated and have a more collective sense of nationhood than us. The fact that they play rugby, Gaelic football and hurling is probably more of a help than a hindrance.
  13. Absolutely right, these posts saying we'd rather quit than play like Ireland are utterly ridiculous.
  14. Should be a good test for them. If they're as good as claimed, they should be able to do it.
  15. He looks too good for Celtic.
  16. Difficult one for Hibs. They may well get a big offer from an EPL club in January. I don't think they'll catch Rangers if McGinn goes.
  17. McGinn is a bit of a mix of Roy Aitken and John Collins and looks like the liquid metal cop from Terminator 2.
  18. Sat too deep in second half. Management fault. McGinn miles ahead of the rest on the night.
  19. I think the point is the kids are bored with the football training on offer making them turn to the x-box.
  20. McKay wasn't terrible. His first time passing was good, he just didn't take on his man. I said earlier somewhere, he's never a winger, but he's potentially a very good attacking central midfielder.
  21. I'll be very surprised if McGinn doesn't go on to be a £10M player. I'm so relieved to see a player like that emerge. A big lad with great ability and determination.
  22. I was disappointed with McGinn against France, but he's been outstanding in this game. He's got a slightly odd posture but physical and skilful.
