  1. James MacArthur is leaving Palace. Still think he can do a job at a good level.
  2. That’s a bizarre run of defeats for Utd. Can’t see any miracles. They’re down.
  3. #RangersFC can today announce Scott Arfield, Filip Helander, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor and Alfredo Morelos will leave the club upon the expiry of their contracts this summer.
  4. United half lost all 3 post split fixtures to date. Didn’t think that was on the cards prior to split.
  5. Jack Butland signing for Rangers from Palace. Harsh on McCrorie.
  6. We still have 300e left over from my last trip abroad. That was in 2019. Heading to Bruges, Ghent and Ypres in August so it will come in handy.
  7. BT to cut 55000 jobs in the next 10 years. Includes sub contractors. Stating AI as a factor. Thats 42% of their current workforce.
  8. There was a time when I enjoyed this mans work. I have his History of Scotland book and enjoyed the series. Now I can’t bare to even look at the book on my shelf. What happened to him?
  9. Morelos, Kent, Arfield, Stephen Davies, McGregor and Hellander will all be off the books by next season. Add another 5 first team players to that. Lots of outs at the moment.
  10. The last thing we need is another layer to sit between the two current feeder leagues. I think we need 2 larger professional leagues although it will take a lot of convincing to change the current top flight league in terms of numbers. The challenge is how do you develop the younger players. I don't think the reserve league was a good way of doing that.
  11. Played 5s up to my early 40s but two bad knee injuries took its toll. Fancy walking football when I start to reduce work time. Still run twice a week though.
  12. If Everton get relegated they’ll get a parachute payment of £100m spread over 3 years. That’s mental. They get more based on their tenure in the PL.
  13. Again what needs changing is the process that enables VAR to look at such incidents. However there was no issue with VAR's operation at the weekend under the current process.
  14. I think it was a pen but its a refereeing error that could not be overruled by VAR.
  15. https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/duk-penalty-snub-vs-rangers-26868498.amp
  16. If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick. Under VAR rules that means the it could not get involved as neither a free-kick nor a spot-kick was awarded.
