  1. Tough on Aberdeen. Really impressed with how they took the game to Celtic second half. All three goals where the result of poor defending.
  2. Its being reported in the Scotsman that McCoist will ask for Macleod to be released to play next Sat if he does not feature the night before. Then Macleod can return to the Scotland squad for the England game. I personally hope this request is turned down as it no doubt be used as a precedent for future double headers. Hearts have made a similar request for 2 of their u21's players who are in the squad for the friendly the week following their home game away to Falkirk.
  3. top four sides in the championship are on a good run. Some massive head to heads coming up over the next six weeks. Rangers have to go to Hearts, Queen of The South and Hibs before end of year. Going to be fun.
  4. Going Back by Dusty Springfield. Originally co-written and sung by Carole King.
  5. First of all absolutely no-one should be forced to wear a poppy. "Mr Whelan, for me to wear a poppy would be as much a gesture of disrespect for the innocent people who lost their lives in the Troubles –" is he speaking for the 644 civilians killed by the IRA? and the 272 RUC men and women? Leaving aside the 656 British soldiers?
  6. We have three players called up but the game has been confirmed as going ahead.
  7. I am hearing the effigy of Eck was actually blown up instead of being torched. Can anyone confirm?
  8. David Cameron effigy was burned on a Lewes bonfire a few years ago. Barely a peep.
  9. Get a grip :-)) Do a bit of reading on it and enlighten yourselves. Eck is joining some fellow famous burned effigies.
  10. its not meant to be serious. If it was then burning a guy on any bonfire should be banned. As I have said this has gone on for years. We are too precious on these things. Salmond laughed it off in an interview tonight. Fair play to him.
  11. An effigy of David Cameron was burned on a Lewes bonfire a couple of years back. As was one of the Pope.
  12. Republicans now control both houses. Even some of in his own party told him to stay away from campaigning in their respective states.
  13. Rangers had a comfortable 3-0 win over Cowdenbeath and are now 4pts behind Hearts. Also at the moment it looks like the Rangers v Alloa on the 15th November could go ahead. So far only McLeod has been called up for international duty, Shiels was not named in the NI squad and Zaluiskas is injured. Can't see Mohnsi being called up as he has not played for a while.
  14. I said I am confident . I would be less confident if the game was at Rugby Park. Also if Killie play at their best then we will be up against it.
  15. so nothing to do with having beaten ICT and St Johnstone at Ibrox in cup games this season?
  16. because this season we have already beaten superior top flight opposition at Ibrox in the Cup.
  17. Just imagine you had a choice on how it was spent. What would you want to change? There would probably be some untouchables. You can imagine pensions being one of the areas where people may be given greater flexibility. Maybe even Health.
  18. According to The Sun, Lewis Macleod is going to be called up to the squad for the ROI and England games.
  19. before the game against Celtic we play Hearts twice and Hibs once. Two of these games in away from home. These are the games that will define our season.
  20. Its a personal opinion and he is entitled to it. There is some decent young talent across all three teams and GS wants them available for selection playing at the highest level in Scotland.
