  1. I've never heard of it although it looks good, so it's added to the list. Cheers my man.
  2. Altered State - The story of ecstasy culture and acid house by Matthew Colin. An amazing book, I just wanted to be 21 again, at The Arches out my banger. The frying pan of Spain by Colin Miller which is about the rivalry between Real Betis and Sevilla. Chamber Music - About the Wu Tang in 36 pieces. 36 chapters dedicated to the Wu Tangs debut album 'Enter the 36 Chambers' An amazing book which really breaks down the importance of that album, not just in hip hop circles but popular culture. Notes to A Tribe Called Quest by Hamid Abdurraqib. Not quite finished this yet but a really good history of their story alongside the author's own life and how their music impacted his upbringing and adult years. Danish Dynamite by Rob Smyth, Lars Eriksen and Mike Gibbons. All about the Danish team of the 80's with the central theme being their team at the 1986 world cup, where by all accounts they had a genuine opportunity to win the big one.
  3. Too long, he's absolutely rotten. He's been a cheerleader and nothing more for about two years. I know it's difficult given his own issues, but you've got to be ruthless, let him go wherever he wants for no fee and let him try and enjoy his football elsewhere.
  4. Yeah, they're style has certainly changed and any time I've seen them they try and play football. There are plenty of teams in the league that are much more agricultural than them.
  5. Spot on, our players are so fucking insular, as soon as Johnny Foreigner turns up and players are taken out their comfort zone they chuck it. It's part of the reason so few of our players play at an elite level.
  6. Very strange, the xenophobic press will be absolutely delighted.
  7. You're right but it's always quite shocking to see swathes of working class towns vote in Tories, no matter how normalised it's become over the last few elections.
  8. Not a bad night up here, we've done our bit but the real tragedy is these northern towns voting labour, my solidarity with the English working classes fades day by day
  9. It is, I can't see it myself but that seems to be the chat.
  10. Few of my mates were out canvassing for Labour in Uxbridge today and there seems to be chat that it's possibly quite tight.
  11. I'll be heading up there to cast my vote after a driving lesson from a 1997 Scottish cup winner to ensure that rusty dick Masterson is on the dole tomorrow.
  12. We were awful, team selection again was poor and Lennon keeps on getting lucky and long may it continue. The tiresome debate over Edouard and Morelos is done. Morelos is a bottle merchant and Edouard played 30 mins and transformed the team, intelligent, quick, technical and aware of everything going on around, the opposite of that wee dick.
  13. Frimpong has been our best outfield player by a country mile.
  14. That Scott Allan pass for Hibs first goal yesterday was absolutely sublime.
  15. Morgan and Hayes apparently starting which is a truly frightening prospect but we should still have enough. Let Helander and particular Goldson have the ball, press them at the right times and we'll win. Goldson in particular is so vulnerable with the ball in that area in between centre half and right back, expose that time and again and we'll be fine. 2-0 Celtic.
  16. I'm not entirely sure it was a penalty, the replays seemed pretty inconclusive to me. From what I could see, Ferguson foot was partly on the line and partly outside the box and if I'm unable to tell after a million replays then the ref made the right decision.
  17. Astonishing really given how on top Rangers were, let's see if the dandies can keep it up.
  18. Liverpool have form, they're bigger ambulance chasers than we are. Good luck to Mr Duckinfield.
  19. The latest yougov poll this morning is depressing but I'm still hoping for a Labour surge In England. I don't think Labour have done enough to drive home the message that Johnson was complicit and actively played a role in the last 9 years of austerity. It's clear Johnson has tried to differentiate himself from that and it's almost like he's leading another party rather than the one of David Cameron and Theresa May.
