  1. They did with Sevilla when Bilbao couldn’t host.
  2. Think Croatia are staying in St Andrews. If UEFA are going to shift they will need to do it very quickly this week and they probably will I think without any hesitation. Newcastle would make sense as similar capacity so the 12,000 deosn’t change. UEFA made a quick decision yesterday on the back of the Champions League final being moved. Belfast looks like loosing the UEFA super cup which is now being moved to Turkey. IFA were closing Windsor Park after this weekend to do work for it, moved the Irish Cup final and all for nothing. Basically UEFA wont think twice about shifiting it.
  3. Absolutely hyper now, since email about tickets yesterday its just making it more real. I didn’t get to 98, was just out of college a d couldn’t afford it, said ‘I’ll go to the next on’ as all the boys headed off for 3 weeks. Never thought 23 years later would be the next one, following through all the crap and close calls of that time. What makes it more real for me is I live in Northern Ireland and due to the shit show of the last year I’ve not seen my parents since December 19, not been in Scotland or seen the boys I go to games with for 17 months since a weekend in Edinburgh in January last year. Thankfully their lifting the travel ban to mainland from next week so all set to go. Just hoping now the issues in Glasgow level of over the next week or so and it all goes ok. I know for one I’ll be an emotional wreck 😂😂😂
  4. The mainstream media line on it is very very negative. When you actually read right into it, and read the right people are saying. Yes its a worry but needs to be watched more than this mass panic.
  5. Dont disgree but there a good chance they will. They want bums on seats even if its just 25%. Its why Dublin lost their games
  6. The worry is UEFA might not give them a chance to get it under control, they will not want to hang of then the week before crowds cant happen. I think UEFA right now could be nervous about it. They will want guarantees from Scot Gov that the 25% attendance can still be delivered. If not I can see games being shifted.
  7. If going by the points system they couldn't go straight to 12 points. They will probably open it up on the 26th for 12 pointers.
  8. I'm hoping and presuming that's the case but as Scotincarlisle has said the longer it drags on the more you fear one big cock up.
  9. So based on what Slovakia have done it appears to be a generic access code and not unique to an individual? This could turn into a shambles vey quickly if its the same for us. You know there is huge risk that some SSC members will be sharing the code with those who don't have enough points.
  10. So defo looks like they have syphoned off tickets for something. This was table I was getting it from. VIP, Corporate etc seems to come from a different allocation but maybe thats UEFA and not the local FA’s
  11. Thought it was 16% for competing nations? Or did that change?
  12. So based on that English allocation, is it right that hosts get 19% of capicity? If thats the case then the FA have taken about 1300 tickets, I can only presume for WAGS, spnonsors and celebrities?
  13. There was stuff posted a while ago about the percentages being handed out albeit in a full stadium, for FA's, Public sale, corporate etc. SSC are due to get 16%, which going on a 25% capacity is 2080 tickets. There was a table doing the rounds that detailed it all.
  14. 2000 for both Hampden games and about 3500 for Wembley. Should mean everyone on 15 points and above should be fine for Hampden with a ballot on 14 points for any remaining. For Wembley everyone on 12 points and above with a ballot on 11 points.
  15. I just cant see how they can deviate from the norm as you say. If 2000 for Hampden the first 2000 or close to it points wise will be invited to purchase by a certain date. From checking points table there is 2100ish on 14 points and above. I would imagine it will start at 15 points and about which is 1700ish.
  16. Just checked the T&C’s myself and have copied the below. SFA can issue in whatever way they or Ian Maxwell see’s fit. Home Games (if they view them as that) 38. For Home Matches the Scottish FA reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, not to invite Members to purchase a Ticket or to refuse or restrict applications for multiple Tickets. 39. For Home Matches, Tickets will be issued to applicant Members on the basis as determined by the Chief Executive, in his absolute discretion, and as notified to Members from time to time, and subject to the Ticket Terms and Conditions. 40. The issue of Tickets for all matches is subject to availability. The means of allocation of Tickets shall be determined by the Scottish FA from time to time in its absolute discretion. 41. In the event of an over-subscription of demand for Tickets to attend a Home Match, the Scottish FA will allocate Tickets to Members with the most Loyalty Points (from January 2020). If the number of Members on equal Loyalty Points is more than the number of Tickets remaining, Tickets will be distributed on a “first come, first served” basis by reducing Loyalty Points’ levels until all remaining Tickets are allocated. Away Games 48. In the event of an over-subscription of demand for Tickets to attend an Away Match, the Scottish FA will allocate Tickets to Members with the most Loyalty Points (from January 2020). If the number of Members on equal Loyalty Points is more than the number of Tickets remaining, Tickets will be distributed on a “first come, first served” basis by reducing Loyalty Points’ levels until all remaining Tickets are allocated. 49. Any person, not being a Member, will not be invited, nor entitled, to apply for a Ticket for an Away match. 50.The Scottish FA reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse an allocation of tickets form any other national football association for Away Matches for any reason including, without limitation, on grounds of safety and security. 51. Tickets will be issued for Away Matches at the absolute discretion of the Scottish FA. The Scottish FA reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, not to invite Members to purchase a Ticket or multiple Tickets or to refuse or restrict applications for Tickets or multiple Tickets for Away Matches. 52. Tickets will be issued to applicant Members for Away Matches on the basis as determined by the Chief Executive in his absolute discretion, and as notified to Members from time to time, subject to the Ticket Terms and Conditions under which the Away Match is being played
  17. The issue is there wont be enough tickets accross the three games for everyone in the SSC. I applied in the original UEFA ballot, was offered but didnt take them as I new I would have enough points (in normal circumstances obviously) As someone else has mentioned though, we need to get it out our heads this is our home game. For the purpose of the Euros its not our stadium, its technically an away game. Others may know this for sure but would moving away from the points system not be a change in T&C’s of membership? So changing that system isn’t as simple?
  18. Potentially but I would be concerned a high percentage of tickets would go to corporate, players families etc, celebrity hangers on etc.
  19. Totally agree, I for one was glad to see McTominay back into midfield but we played well in November, even in the two defeats with him in the back 3 and Jack in the middle. Hendry may well develop more for that role but McTominay is no doubt our best option back there.
  20. Agree said that the last couple of days, think he’s been a huge miss. Actually think he gets us further up the pitch than we were last two games. Vital he is fit for the summer.
  21. Its not about ditching the back 3 for me, its picking the right games to use it. There are games where it will work, against better teams away from home, like Serbia proved and away to Denmark and Austria hopefully. Last night it was clear before the game that a 4-2-3-1 should have been deployed. If Clarke and the coaching staff had watched the Israel game from Thursday would have seen that. Concern for me is there is no plan B until we are a goal down and in trouble.
  22. I think pace is the key v this lot. Im not sure Christie gives us that.
  23. Yeah they would probably use the RDS in Dublin where Leinster Rugby play.
