  1. Even If it showed Yes at 60% I'd dismiss it with a "meh". Not enough quality control in place for street polls.
  2. With the Yes vote going to be in the region of 55% (in my humble opinion), it would take quite the stitch up, as my misguided friend Eddard said above.
  3. I'd argue that the EU is more corrupt than Westminster... But that's a discussion for a few weeks.
  4. Genuine sadness this morning as my elderly neighbour informed me he's voted No after I'd made good progress with him. His best friend who is a Labour member assured him he'd lose his pension with a Yes vote... Some pal. Ach well, there's only so much you can do when you're up against tactics like that.
  5. They can't, and they won't offer definitive new powers. Further Devolution proposals can only be made in a conference of parliament. All they can offer next week is proposals on discussion of new powers... Whether the media will portray any announcement as a definitive offer or not we shall see, but to The Guardians credit they were pretty transparent last night in setting out the process.
  6. No worries fella. The chat about the other 53% one is gathering pace, but folk could be getting over excited.
  7. Confirmed as I'm sure you've seen by now 51-49 excluding DK's.
  8. That's the other number being thrown out in relation to YouGov, could be a mixup or there could be something to it.
  9. A couple of different numbers flying about, the one Ally Bear mentioned seems the most popular.
  10. Worse. The Blacklands, Kilwinning. One fella was proudly telling me last night that Kilwinning has 6 lodges...6!!!
  11. Every little helps, 52% of the population won't be missed... They'll all be related anyway.
  12. I canvassed an area of North Ayrshire last night that is affectionately known locally as 'Little belfast'. We've to finish it off tonight, but current count with around 3/4's done and with the small number of undecideds removed it stands at 52-48% in favour of No... To put a perspective on it, the last lot to canvass the area were Yes Scotland back in June and they quietly returned just 27% Yes. Even the stereotypical Unionists are turning to Yes.
  13. Went to see my auld auntie today. Lovely wee Maryhill wifie, told me she's already voted Yes along with her husband, her 3 sons are voting Yes on the 18th.
  14. Probably Wee Blue Books, but knowing the poster it could be something related to squirrel fetishism.
  15. I've no idea no idea what any of that means, but I do feel firmly put in my place
  16. Very posh . I'm in the part of Dalry that time forgot but even then the Yes displays are outnumbering No, it was very surprising.
