  1. Interesting fact. Moyes still has a better win ratio than LVG at Man United, with almost a 1/4 of the money Van Gaal had to spend.
  2. Refs don't get enough credit. Oliver has been top drawer tonight. Can't think of a wrong decision. Some real big calls as well.
  3. I blame championship manager for ruining my life. One of the versions when I was "studying" had a clock which showed how long you had actually played the game. In a twelve month period I was at about 3 months of that twelve of game playing time! Literally about half the time I was actually awake! I could've been somebody if it wasn't for that genius game! Maybes....
  4. Aaron Taylor Sinclair who signed from the jags warms the bench for them. The reserve team's bench mostly.
  5. It's really difficult to find online... I'm usually good at this kinda thing. Can find series 2 online everywhere but series 1 is unbelievably evasive. When I find it I'll pm you.
  6. I was never a fan of Reynolds mate. Granted he he turned into a very decent (scottish league level) centre half, I never thought he has the composure or technical ability to be an international player. I hope it's not a similar comparison and I would like to think o'donnell will make better decisions re his career than reynolds perhaps did. He already has turned down Blackpool, maybes similar to the move Reynolds made to Sheffield wed?
  7. Sorry man... Well if he was on your clubs radar then I'd be equally enthused. He is too good for my club and I'm all about seeing young scottish talent excelling and reaching their potential! Good luck for tomorrow! I'll be cheering you on!
  8. If you get him, he will make your club a lot of money. United are a team who tend to be on big club's radars. It would be mutually beneficial. You also have a manager who believes in him, it's his only slight downfall in that he is often too critical of himself. A sign of a guy who wants to be on the top of his game. That's quite a compliment using my enthusiasm in conversation with others. ive followed thistle for 30 odd years. He is the only one I've thought has it. Rossy, I do think you are right but United are a better shop window than even aberdeen, just some teams have a better reputation than others at bringing through players, like accies and United. He will be scotlands undesputed right back in 2 years max.
  9. This question is for the dundee Utd fans. What did you boys think of o'donnell today? Wasn't at the game but think he is an outstanding talent who is playing at a team where his ability is totally underestimated? Strong rumours he is away to your team after this season. I'm no one of these fans who get over excited about player, he is the only thistle player in my lifetime I've been certain will play for our country. Whoever gets him gets the best scottish right back in our league.
  10. Aberdeen, on form, are the best side I've seen in the league this year. I think they'll get a result against celtic tomorrow. A win might be too much to ask but I hope they do. Mon the sheep! Our league needs it!
  11. Mate you are totally correct! Felt dirty all afternoon and to be honest I was happy to lose my bet. Was only one of 3 that let me down for 235. I deserve it. First and last time. Great result for the jags so I'm a happier if somewhat poorer jag tonight!
  12. Series 2 is available from Sky on demand. Struggling to get series one. Very similar in style to gomarrah I'm led to believe. Even grittier if that's even a word!!
  13. Dundee Utd to beat thistle at 21/20 is buying money. As a jag I find it hard to bet against my team but the economist in me says it's too good to refuse! 1/2 for draw no bet. It's a no brainer.
  14. Equally as inept. Well almost equally. Don't think I've seen many as inept as collum. Although having not seen any of the incidents it's unfair. He is usually awful. Full of baffling decision that go both for and against you. Kinda typical of most in our top league and below.
  15. As a jag I loved watching zerouali. Thought he was amazingly talented. Poor guy.
  16. Would take him at the jags. A good manager with an outstanding ethos on how the game should be played and youngsters developed. I like him.
  17. This is it in a nutshell. Now I'm in no way a fan of the green and white side of glasgow but there really is only one team that perpetuates sectarian behaviour in scotland.
  18. Gordon or mcgregor or Marshall for me. We are so lucky for our nation our size to have 3 such quality players in that position each with their own individual brilliancies. We fortunate in that whomever we pick we will have a top class keeper between the sticks. Wee Gordon has a decision on his hands. I think he'll show loyalty to Marshall and would be happy with that. Equally so if he picked Gordon or mcgregor. Not many nations with such an embarrassment of riches in the goalkeeping position.
  19. Totally agree. I lose all interest watching it week by week. Loved breaking bad and walking dead when I watched them back to back on box sets but when I caught up I could take or leave the episodes... Another in the gomarrah camp here. Now here is one series I watched week to week and still was gripped and couldn't wait for the next one. The only thing I've ever watched on the box which has compelled me so much. It's brilliant viewing. I've heard romanzo criminale is similarly brilliant but only have series 2 ready to watch and the links I have online ain't great for series 1....
  20. Couple of guys I work with got the boardman cyclecross, I had ordered one as well but there was a problem with the crank shaft in both my colleagues bikes, one that has since been remodied. So being impatient, like buzz, I went for a forme cx sport cyclecross (it's a great bike I have to say) and got a great deal (we bought two, a guy a work with as well). I have to say the boardman team is a cracking high spec bike as well. A beautiful thing to look at as well. One of the boys does a 45 mile round commute on it and loves every second....
  21. To be honest I think the spec between the cyclocross and the sturdy road bikes are almost exactly the same. I've loved my cyclecross and it commutes and goes off road brilliantly. The bike you have chosen seems to have all the spec but be more catered for road riding and the occasion off road stint. I'm jealous man! You've made a fine choice. I wish this bad boy was available in September when I got mine as it's definitely the way ahead! Happy and safe riding mate!!
  22. Really interested in the road bikes that can handle canal tracks etc. Thats why I went for a cyclecross but thinking I should've waited for this generation of bike. Looks a belter and well priced. Have you riden a cyclocross and if so how does this compare??
  23. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zC_wiXrnHZY Disgraceful. Anyone unfortunate enough to have come into contact with their travelling support will understand this is a disgusting trait that runs deep and plentiful. I've been to many premiership games down south including 3 chelsea fixtures away from Stanford bridge, with the same people. All of us have previously discussed how we won't go to another one. Utter disgraceful behaviour which is far from an isolated incident.
