Yes, although he did quickly correct himself. Kind of sums it up though as most people think of England as UK (this has happened all my lifetime) but particularly galling when they are then discussing Scottish Ref so the difference should be a bit clearer to them now (although I know it's not intentional).

I think you're agreeing with me ? Yes,all, if not all these guys were still amateurs working fulltime in their respective fields (in Doddy's case it was a field) and still 100% Scotland. They may have different views re Indy but so does has half the population (including many of my friends and family).

They were heroes then and haven't really done anything wrong now apart from make their opinions public (which maybe is wrong/right because they're famous) and they represent half the population of Scotland. If half the same team/squad came out for Yes they wouldn't get slagged on the TAMB. Whatever the result we'll have to be friends, family, work colleagues in 6 days and not point fingers at individual members of our country. My only finger pointing is at some of the politicians and biased media.

Just switched over to French news which is discussing Obama's interjection on Syria/Iraq and IS - and they guy referred to UK as England ! Small thing but gets my goat especially when their next report is about the Indyref !?

These guys are still heros IMO and just because they don't agree with most TAMB views doesn't denegrate what they achieved (especially in 1990). Whatever the outcome it will be close to 50/50 that will include and divide many of our friends and families and we still need to move together in whichever direction. I have my views but around half of Scotland has another. The real shower o kunts are the 3 wise men and Darling.

Moi,but I changed my mind within a few hours of posting those views on the TAMB many, many moons ago, Very impressed by them and they put many (and I mean many) adults to shame.
