  1. Thought fans have been great , especially here in Olhao has been good fun. Apart from a cheeky cow last night at stadium who was not happy I was standing in there area. Instead of just asking me to move she proceeded to shout loudly about me being there. Looks like she chews a lot of wasps so let her have her wee rant. Great trip so far given I was ready for binning it on Thursday.
  2. Yes ok it was from BBC Scotland, and there was a smugness from reporters lips. Cannae remember his name and just deleted podcast. I also text my pal who has a son doing freelance with the Sunday Mail (although not football journo). Feedback as a non footie journo is he is on fence , but don't be surprised if he walks. Could be Chinese whispers , but really hope he stays.
  3. Doing a little podcast catch up here in Portugal, before heading out in this pishy rain to beer and food. Anyway feeling is Strachan will chuck it after Sunday. Personally I want him to stay, so just giving people a heads up. If we want him to stay think we need to let him know that at stadium. And please don't go on about it being just media pish, it maybe so but no harm in letting him know we would like home to stay. But I'm shite at starting a song...
  4. Think the clubs will be having there say. Some of these players are playing great club football. And next transfer window not too far away, so why risk your 5-12 million pound asset? Really disappointed in Rhodes withdrawal. But he got a niggleing injury last season so why chance it. I'll forgive him this time if it means a Epl step up.
  5. Arrive in Olhao Friday late afternoon. Also looking to cadge a lift to and from stadium. Just needing one space, cheers.
  6. Thanks Guys it went well. Thanks to George for the beers on way home. We seemed to get a second wind when we got to Stranraer. Singing bus all way home. Did you find guy in straw hat?

  8. Thanks for posting this news. Can all relax a bit now.
  9. And that link is from 6 years ago. Hope the SFA are able to clarify if we will get in to home end.
  10. Agree ' twist and shout' , I was hoping it would catch on with us after seeing Coventry fans sing it. There's a cracking Glasgow band called Prides who I'm daft on. Any of there 3 songs Messiah, Out of the blue, I should know you better. And years ago for France 98 was there not a song called Scotland United? Or was that bands name? Anyway a cracking song the chorus alone would sound great in the stands. If anyone is good enough to post lyrics.
  11. I posted on here about how I also missed email. Guys on here informed me it was attached to Northern Ireland match. We were getting bombarded with reminder emails about NI game, it just looked like an advert for that game. So I assume I just deleted it, that's what most people do with junk mail. I emailed SSC explain situation and asked politely to be put on waiting list for returns. I even blamed myself for missing email, even though they are very much also at fault. I have not even got a reply to say aye or naw!! It should of been a stand alone email only!! I am going to attempt to email again about returns. I have managed to get ticket on presale, but I'm pissed off about losing my attendance point.
  12. The presale finishes tomorrow morning @ 8am. I assume any left will go to first to order.
  13. Im still looking for 2, but will also take one. Probably best we just keep the one thread for all ticket requests.
  14. Yes that has probably just confirmed what I was thinking. Because they were struggling to sell Northern Ireland and Gibraltar game. We seemed to get bombarded with reminders to get your tickets. Maybe I'm wrong but have they not also sent out text messages about away tickets in past? Because I have definitely not deleted any texts since new year, and there is nothing on phone. 100% right though, should be stand alone email to SSC members only. I doubt I've been the only one who missed it. But not all fans post on tamb.
  15. Yeah thanks, plan to send an email and ask about returns. They can only say no, but imagine a few people will cancel. Looks like I've made an arse of it. But we are still going and will enjoy, be it in pub or in stand.
  16. Ive got text messages regarding NI friendly. There is a chance relevant emails have went to spam folder. That has happened before and they delete after ten days. Just have to keep double checking when booking future away games. Gutted but nothing I can do, just have to keep fingers crossed. Even if I can get one and give to my cousin, I'll go to pub. I said I would sort tickets, not given bad news yet.
  17. I'm also looking for two tickets. I've seriously fooked up. Never realised ssc tickets went on sale last month. And I'm on 7 frigging points!! I'll be on Glasgow George Square bus run by Alistair. And how clear was the information email about tickets from SSC? Cant find anything , only adverts for Northern Ireland game. Did they text message? Because I definitely never got?
  18. OK thanks folks, some good info. He is still not sure if he is going, but think I'm going to get it surveyed anyway. And also looking into marketing it myself. A friend has told me her brother done that. Took about 6 months to sell. But then some flats with agents have been up for ages.
  19. Looks like my uncle who I rent a flat to is moving back down south. I have thought about continuing to rent, but really prefer to sell. So any advice on which estate agents to use, I have only ever bought not sold. The flat is a 1 bedroom in Rutherglen area. What I do know , I will probably do a fix price. And because I want a quick sale, would sell just a little under valuation.
  20. He done a really good interview for BBC radio Scotland. (probably over a year ago). He got asked about his behaviour after boozegate. He admitted his regret and that he was a Pratt. But he still has no idea why he behaved that way. I think its something that will always haunt him, he was cringing just talking about it. Never understood the Ned comments? He comes across in interviews softly spoken and polite. I assume it may be because he was such a moaner on the pitch. Would'nt mind if Strachan invited him to the next squad meeting to help out with coaching.
  21. I actually thought that was Jackie McNamara??
  22. Agree, never understand why people have a problem with him. He is very polite and camp and looks more like a lawyer. Obviously does not fit what a footballer looks like. But also remember he was decent wee player.
  23. Yes , Bowyer was hoping to have him back against Liverpool. But a bit too soon for him. I think he's nearly fit, but would rather give him a rest these next 2 games. We need him fully fit for Dublin.
  24. I got a chance to have a quick chat with Terry in London. He played a gig at a pub in Denmark st, the day after we played Nigeria at Craven Cottage. But he had a few people wanting to talk to him, so did'nt want to be a pain in the arse What he was able to confirm is the song is called "Right Road". I've got a very poor vhs copy of when they were in Gaelic show 'Noch Gun Chadal'. I may try to pester him on twitter, he did mention he may do it in future. But nothing as yet.
  25. I know the band split, and the former lead singer Terry McDermott is doing good in America. But I'm trying to get a copy of there 2001 mini album. Apparently it was only available at gigs. Think it was a bit of a homemade disc. Particularly a song called 'Right Road'? And any idea if the other members have new bands on go.
