  1. In my opinion Old Pultney has a very distinctive flavour and is maybe not one of the best to start out with. I think it's a bit of an acquired taste and might put folk off if it's one of the first ones they try. Just my opinion, everybody's tastes are different.
  2. Aye, all 3 final games in our group kick off at 2045 CET (1945 in Scotland and Portugal)
  3. I think we might be straying into the realms of innuendo here?
  4. I use a putter which I bought out of intersport for £4.99 about 20 years ago. I only bought that because some khunt stole my old one. Putting is the best part of my game. Anybody who spends a fortune on a putter is aff their heads IMO. I agree with Angus. If anybody is a poor putter, one of the first things they should think about doing is chopping 3 inches off their putter. Don't chop 3" off your chopper by mistake though. That would be counter productive.
  5. I think Nicola and Alex are a formidable team. It will take more than a disgustingly biased media to drive a wedge between them, which is clearly what they are trying to do. Nicola is the boss and it is easy for Salmond to do what he is telt, because there is very little that they disagree on. The media would love to find something but they haven't managed it yet.
  6. Maybe he was worried about having to shake hands with the Tory?
  7. IMO a draw is best for us at this stage. Next best would be a win for Ireland. But a win for Poland wouldn't be bad for us either. So, it's a win, win, win situation for us. As long as we beat Gibraltar of course. In which case it will be a win, win, win, win situation.
  8. Maybe he wanted to give himself some time in case he changed his mind?
  9. Aye, there are at least 37 folk under the age of 60 in the Scottish Tories.
  10. A few months ago we landed an unmanned space craft on the surface of a comet 500,000,000 km away from the Earth. There is no doubt in my mind we could develop the technology for unmanned commercial flying if we wanted to. Whether it's a route we should go down is a different matter though.
  11. Of course you are right that we should take 6 points off Gibraltar but we haven't done it yet. I just don't like young dafties putting the hoodoo on us before a ball is even kicked. We have enough problems scoring goals as it is without tempting fate by predicting big score lines. We don't have a good history of beating weak opposition easily. I just don't think we are genetically programmed to score loads of goals.
  12. That sounds a wee bit like the English at their arrogant best. I can remember not that long ago loads of English pundits (like Townsend and Lawrenson ) moaning like fuk about having to play some minnows (Andorra I think?). It then took the all conquering England team about 70 minutes to score their first goal. At one point Cyprus were one of the minnows of Europe. Did they not give your lot a doing not that long ago?
  13. We are. They should kick us oot and force us to stand on our own two feet.
  14. Interesting formation Mr Bannannan. Are they all playing on the same pitch?
  15. I will settle for 3 points. Would be nice to get a few goals and get a clean sheet but I think goals scored against Gibraltar are unlikely to matter in deciding the group places. That will only come into play if we are tied with another team and our scores against that team are identical home and away (ie if we lost 1-0 to Ireland, drew 2-2 at home to Poland or beat Germany 2-1). Of course there could also be a 3 way tie but that's even less likely. GD could be important in deciding the best 3rd place team but results against Gibraltar will be discounted before that calculation is done.
  16. Are you really young? I can only assume you have never seen us struggle against so called weak opposition? Cyprus, Faeroe Islands, Liechtenstein.
  17. That certainly used to be the case but I'm not so sure about these fancy new Smart TVs. They might be able to track what you are watching the same your computer can? Big Brother might be watching you watching it?
